Shabby canvas by Kasia Salmanowicz

Hi,

Today I would like to show you another project using new moulds, metal accessories and Finnabair structural paste. All with lots of white. I admit that I added white color several times at the end. I imagined this project very whitewashed, although the initial stages of work did not indicate it at all, but of course you can watch all in the tutorial. Please visit the Finnabair YouTube channel, you can find the link below.

I chose square canvas as the base for my project. At the beginning, I applied a pattern from a stencil and structural paste with a wonderful shiny effect. Then I glued the next elements with Heavy Body Gel. It was lace, dry sticks, metal flowers, elements made of moulds - a face, a frame, leaves and flowers, plus small cogs and twigs made of HDF material. I used several types of media to color my project. It was mica (two sets with different colors), two-tone metallic paints and liquid acrylic paint. The whole is toned down so that it gently turns into white.

I really like this effect. Finally, a few more splashes of white gesso mixed with water. Everything in vintage style. A beautiful lady surrounded by flowers, slightly romantic ...

Have a nice day,

Kasia Salmanowicz
