Twilight Deer by Olga Ravenskaya

 Hi gorgeous friends!

It’s Olga Ravenskaya here today and I’m so excited to share with you my debut project with a video tutorial.

I’ve created a home décor piece – wooden Twilight Deer trying to express my feeling of upcoming late Autumn with its dark and deep colors, first hoarfrost on the branches, frosty air and twilight sky all the days long.

I’ve used Sand Paste White, Modeling Paste Opaque Matte with Vintage Wallpaper stencil and Mini Art Stones to create the texture on my wooden sticks and deer base.

Then I covered everything using Metallique paints and Impasto paints.

To underline the texture I’ve used Old White Matte Wax and Amethyst Magic Wax.

And as a final touch I’ve used Sterling Glass Glitter and  Licorice Glass Beads for sparkling effect.

Here is my video step-by-step, hoping you’ll enjoy it!

If you can't see the video (this happens on the phones) here is direct link.

Thanks a ton for stopping by!

Hugs,

Olga

Rusty canvas by Anastasi Kuznetsova

 Hello, friends!

Anastasi is with you today. Today I want to show you a collage.

First, I covered the cardboard with Black Heavy Gesso. I used a comfortable silicone brush. Then I covered the base with Rust Effect Paste to give the surface a rusty effect. Then I applied a Graphite Texture Paste through the stencil and dried it a little. I also covered the remains of cardboard from under the gears with Rust Effect Paste - Metal Rust.

I used different decor. I covered the gears from the chipboard with Metallique paint. For making clay figurines, I used molds by Finnabair. After the figurines were completely dry, I covered them with Metallique paint and Sparks, dried, covered them with Matte Waxes, wiped off excess wax from the surface, and in some places covered the surface of the figurines with Wax Cire Cera. I also used Mechanicals - Rustic Gears, a black flower and so on.

After I glued all the decor, I tinted the surface with Impasto paints and Liquid Aclylics. At the very end, I pasted small accents in the form of beads, Glass Glitter and black sand. I pasted the accents with Soft Gloss Gel.

You can watch the creation process in this video. Enjoy, Anastasi.

Romantic Shadow Box by Anat Weksler

Hello crafty friends! It's Anat here today with a new Video tutorial showing how I made this Romantic Shadow Box using fabulous Finnabair products.

I wanted my Shadow Box to have  a peeled Vintage look, for that I covered it all with Black Gesso and than added 2 types of texture pastes - White Crackle and Graphite. When dry I colored it with a mix of Burnt Sienna and Magenta Acrylic Paints together wit Mica Powder.

For the Feminine touch I used the Rossibelle collection from Prima Marketing together with cotton vintage laces.

Many Mechanicals, mould prints and wooden icons where added to embelish the Box.

Watch here the step by step process:

Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
