Butterfly Junk Journal - Wiola Artajunk

Beautiful folio with junk Journal. This is softcover with fiber decoupage paper and pockets. The journal is pretty chunky although has 1 signature. You can find there a lot of tag spots, envelopes, different kinds of pockets just for tags or photos. I used a lot of beautiful scrapbook papers, fabric decoupage paper and a lot of original old pages.

Dream Journal by Lori Woods

Hello creative friends!  I say this every time but I am in love with Finnabair’s latest release! The super versatile new sizes of decoupage paper, even more stencils and the absolutely gorgeous new effect paste sets- so many possibilities!

I’ve had my Finnabair denim journal for a while and could never quite decode how to decorate it so I decided to try out one of the new decoupage sets and Nightdreaming seemed like a great fit for a journal cover. I applied this with soft gel and the flexibility of the paper was perfect for an object that will get a lot of use.

I used one of the new Knots & Knits stencils and the beautiful Twilight Pearl paste toe create a shimmery background. I then layered up various mould elements and used Sparks paint to continue the dreamy theme.

I finished off with the Magic Potion effect paste to give everything even more sparkle and then highlighted around the elements with some White Pearl wax. A dream come true!

Vintage Hugs – Mixed Media Canvas by Margarita Shkludova

Hello, creative friends! Margarita Shkludova here.

Today I’m sharing a new canvas filled with soft vintage details, warm pink tones, and delicate layers that feel like little memories frozen in time.

I always love creating projects with an aged and romantic mood. Old photographs, distressed textures, tiny clocks, numbers, and flowers bring such a beautiful feeling of nostalgia to the composition. This canvas feels gentle and emotional — like opening an old box filled with handwritten letters, treasured keepsakes, and moments from the past. The soft gold accents and sparkling details add warmth and a touch of magic to the whole piece.

One of my favorite things in mixed media is combining dimensional embellishments with rich textures. Layers of flowers, glitter, and vintage elements create depth and help every small detail tell its own story. For me, projects like this are not only about composition, but also about emotion and atmosphere.

I invite you to watch the video tutorial on creating this panel. Enjoy watching!

Sometimes creativity is simply a way to hold onto beautiful memories a little longer.

See you soon!
