Liquid Acrylic Paint in my Art Journal Page

This time I have made an Art Journal spread for you. Lot of stamping with the Art Daily stamps, to create texture in the background and also to create some focal points.

In my art journal spread I have have used Liquid Acrylic Paint in four different ways. Yes, the same paint to create different effects. I have been playing with my gelli plate and the Liquid Acrylic Paint to create my background. I have made my own paste that I have used with a stencil. Then I have been painting the stamped birds and also made some splashes with the Liquid Acrylic Paint. Just so much fun to use the same paints in different ways.

I have a video where you can follow my process with my Liquid Acrylic Paint. You are welcome to watch!

Colorful tags by Kasia Bogatko

Hello,
Today I have two tags for you, with lots of layers and details. Most of the items come from a special box on my desk, where I put in various things, leftovers from other projects. You definitely have such a box! :) I found in it, among others, resin castings - which were painted black gesso and covered with different colors of waxes.

However, first and foremost, I wanted to show you how universal liquid acrylics are. I used them here almost like watercolors. I lightly diluted them and painted the background of my tags. The paints are beautifully combined, creating smooth transitions, great help is spraying with water. Remember that you have to act quickly, because the paints are permanent after drying and you will not do anything with them anymore, the water will not work. Exactly you can see it on my video, at the bottom of this post.

To make the background more interesting, I also used new stamps - Old Paper Work. I stamp them with brown ink to better blend into the background. With the same color of ink I distressed the edges.

I completed my tags with matching photos and sentiments from the Art Daily collection, they fit always and everywhere. It was my cherry on the cake.

The compositions are very simple and I encourage you to create such projects. Play with products on such small forms, it gives a lot of fun!

Timeglass Journey by Riddhi Jani

The most important things are the hardest things to say.
They are the things you get ashamed of because words diminish your feelings - words shrink things that seem timeless when they are in your head to no more than living size when they are brought out.
I'm not a big fan of psychoanalysis: I think if you have mental problems what you need are good pills. But I do think that if you have thinks that bother you, Things that are unresolved, The more that you talk about them with your own, Write about them to flow it out, The less serious they become.
-Stephen King

Today my project is dedicated to Timeglass Journey of a girl, who is made of courage, sacrifice, determination, commitment, toughness, heart, talent and guts. However she is living her life for others happiness and choices. Not because she is not capable to live her own one, but she chose to live for others.

Have a look on the project:

And here is my video:
