Hello there, creative friends!
Today I'd like to share with you my new inspiration - a “Magic Forest” Mixed Media Canvas!
At the background of my project you can see dried flowers glued down with 3D Gloss Gel. I adore the effect! That is why each summer I collect herbs and keep them to use in my projects.
I covered the background with Black Heavy Gesso, and I made the texture visible using Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints from the new release. They just shine incredibly!
I have used a lot of natural materials in my work. And in order to preserve them, so that they do not break down and crumble over time - I cover them with a 3D Gloss Gel. It will preserve, protect and prepare the surface for further painting.
You can watch the process in my video. I hope you enjoy viewing!
I made a canvas about my favorite character of Russian fairy tales - Baba Yaga. She is the keeper of the forest and the border between the world of the living and the dead. This is my fourth canvas about fairy witches. Once a year in the summer I do this kind of work for my collection, because I just adore all sorts of fairy tales about the forest and the witches.
And let the fairy tales come to life in our works))
