Horseshoe for luck by Svetlana Lipnitskaya

In my country, Belarus, people believe that if you hang a horseshoe over the entrance to the house, it will bring happiness and good luck. I wanted to show you such a magic horseshoe with luck that would always smile at you! So I prepared my new video tutorial! This horseshoe is my personal good luck charm.

I took a wooden horseshoe and painted it with black gesso - this is a basic product that I love! After drying, the surface becomes matte and very pleasant to the touch. Such a cool effect! Love it!))))

And then I played with new icing pastes and various metal ornaments. Look how cool all these colors mix with other! At the end I used the wax "old gold" - the effect is stunning!

I wish you good luck! Here is my video tutorial!

Enjoy your day and I can't wait to be with you again next time!
Hugs, Svetlana

Diamond by Riddhi

Hey beautiful people, This is Riddhi .
I'm here with another inspiration for you all. This time I decided to create a project similar to the project I made in a past. Its more than a year but, I still love "Altered Diamond".
During my craft room clearing I found my old project and it inspired me to create another one. But I used different combination as well as composition of it.

I took 12"12 inches chipboard piece and with the help of pencil I drew shape of Diamond tracing old Diamond as a guide. Then I cut the shapes that I marked.

Then I arranged these shapes on a piece of chipboard, just to show dimension.

I primed everything with black heavy gesso by Finnabair, to protect surface of a chipboard and to avoid sogginess. After it dried, I applied Impasto Paints to have rich colours.

In a meantime I arranged the composition and covered it with black heavy gesso. I added micro beads and a few chipboard embellishments for some more details.

To highlight details I used brass patina paste and white heavy gesso. Here is my video tutorial.

Dream without fear by Alexandra Mihelic

Hi dear Finnabair friends.

For this beautiful Fall time of the year I wanted to create something in rich, warm colors. I love Fall and I love watching the trees dress in all these beautiful colorful dresses and sun peeking through colorful leaves. I love when seasons are changing. There is something magical and exciting about them that sparkles my imagination and fills me up with Hope!

I just received my supplies from the new Art Daily release and a particular stamp caught my attention, so I decided to make a sunny altered box with it.

First I used the new Linen Impasto paint to cover my box with a first coat. Then I applied a thick layer of Gold crackle Texture paste on top and let it dry. I added some chipboards and slightly brushed everything here and there again with Linen Impasto paint. I decided to work on top of this with combination of Gold Rust Paste from original Rust Effect set and Cream Rust Paste from Old Walls Texture Fantasy set. They worked wonders together!

I added some random stamping with various stamps from new "Dream Without Fear" cling Stamps set, with which I also stamped the moon on top. I also added a sun shaped Mechanical embellishment and wings.

The finishing touch was added with a quote from new "Sentiments" of Art Daily collection, some sunny glitter and some white splashes made with diluted Snow White Impasto paint.

There is a video tutorial added on Finnabair youtube channel for you. I hope you'll enjoy it!

I wish a beautiful Fall season to all of you and can't wait to see you all next time with more of a wintery project.

Hugs, Aleksandra
