Hello mixed media fans! It’s Anastasia here with new project and video tutorial.
Autumn is pumpkin time, but who said they should be orange/yellow or white color only?
I imagined that somewhere, where there is only snow and cold, ice pumpkins could grow. They shine under the winter sun, and they are blue.
I cut the bases of my pumpkins from cardboard and covered them with White Gesso and Blue Mica Powder. Then I added amazing Opal Magic acrylic paint Blue-Green and Metallic acrylic paint White Pearl. I used Soft Gloss Gel through stencil to get ice surface effect.
To decorate these pumpkins, I used chipboard “Steampunk flowers”, metal pendants, paper die-cut elements and photos from “Photobooth” set.
The final touch is the addition of white glitter, glass glitter, glass beads.
Here you will find video tutorial that I hope you’ll like it:
Hugs, Anastasia(aka Nastyalena)
