Hi my dear ones! How was your week?
I've been very busy taking part in Creative World in Frankfurt and doing demos for the retailers and professionals...soon all the products I was sharing will be in the stores, and I can't wait! This is one of the biggest releases I had and I can't wait to see it all in full swing!
Today I'm back with Art Daily Journal cover - I've made it for the February Moodboard on our Art Daily Cafe Blog (it is stunning, believe me!) and I had the best time putting some of my new products into use! I loved the proposed mood and colour palette, mystic and mysterious, so I couldn't help myself and went very into nocturnal project... perfect cover for a journal created out of my dreams!
The very first layer is my new Tissue Paper - this design is called "Solar" - glued down and sealed with generous amount of Art Basics Soft Gel. After it was dry I could easily build layers or add more details to this decorated surface.
Adding dimensional elements: chipboards, metal Mechanicals and nocturnal pieces I've made with my new Moulds was easy - I've glued them down with my favourite Art Basics Heavy Body Gel. Next step was playing with the colours and here I had really a ball playing with layers of my new Art Alchemy Liquid Acrylics and Art Basics White Heavy Gesso. Liquid Acrylics are my new love and they will be in the stores very soon!
The final touches come from Art Alchemy Waxes - new Metallique colours: Old Denim and Electric Violet and White Gold (from previous release) as a contrast. Working witch such set of art mediums was really exciting and easy - and the result is more than I expected. Love the depth and the saturated colour I've created ands I can't wait to play more!
