Kitchen tiles by Svetlana Lipnitskaya

Hello dears! Svetlana Lipnitskaya with you! Today I'll show you a cool panel! I wanted to make an imitation of ceramic tiles, which can be seen in your kitchen. Look how great it turned out! Texture paste and a bit of liquid acrylic made a miracle! I love textured graphite texture paste - it shimmers so beautifully!

I used white soil, thick cardboard and texture paste. When everything was dry, I applied liquid acrylics. I liked how it looks with blue liquid acrylic gold metallic paint. I apply gold metallic paint in a chaotic way, making stains and streaks in random order. As a result, it turned out a wonderful panel, which I will hang in the kitchen - it will be nice get away from a white wall))

Clear. Sparkly Tag - FB Live

Hi my Dears!

As you can probably see on my personal Instagram account, I am now in Lima, Peru with my classes. The possibility of travelling, meeting new people, seeing new places is just amazing! I collect all the memories, tastes, scents, sounds and then, when I am in my studio, I create "stories" in a shape of mixed media projects.

Here is one of them - clear, sparkly tag, that was created during one of my Mixed Media Minutes with Finnabair seesions.

As you can see, clear background could be fabulous space for mixed-media projects.
The video is now available on my youtube channel. You can watch it by clicking below, of course, but if you are still not subscribed to my personal YouTube channel, here is direct link.

Thank you for visiting the blog today. Enjoy your weekend!

Tree Bark alteration: Memoir by Bipasha

Hello wonderful people,
I have another alteration for you today. I am always drawn to natural findings and have been meaning to create an altered bark art piece for a while. My current alteration involved ageing the metal embellishment with Fantasy rust paste and patina to imitate the beautiful patina metal embellishments. I used cog and wings moulds for the embellishments; the details in these beautiful moulds are so stunning.

With an assembly of just a few embellishments and coordinaton of the different mediums, I was able to cook-up a vintage natural tree bark altered piece.

I have prepared a video that records the process. Hope you are inspired to create a bark art piece using the beautiful embellishments and mediums from Prima-Finnabair.

Happy Crafting!
Bipasha
