Cover collage by Anastasi Kuznetsova

Hello, friends!
Today I came to you with a tutorial on creating a Cover Collage. This is a very simple project, but I used a lot of products by Finnabair to create it. Therefore, you can see how to apply this or that product.

The basis of my project is a Chipboard Journal 5.5″ x 5,5″. I took a piece of cardboard to create a collage. First, I covered the cardboard with Impasto paints. Then I applied here and there some Icing paste with a spatula. Using 3D Matte Gel  and a stencil, I created a convex pattern on the surface. Then I took some materials at hand and created a collage. I glued the collage details onto the Soft Gloss Gel.

After the Soft Gloss Gel has had dried, I added Liquid Acrylics. Then I glued the remaining decor to the cover. I used Mechanicals and Art Pebbles. With the help of Soft Gloss Gel and stamps, I made prints on the Art Pebbles. On the reverse side, I coated the Art Pebbles with Sparks, that add a lot of shine.

After I glued the decor, I added Texture Fantasy pastes, Liquid Acrylics and Waxes. At the very end, I refreshed the cover with White Pearl Metallique. You can watch the creation process in this video.

Enjoy, Anastasi.

Dream without fear by Anastasia Korvyakova

Hello mixed media friends! My new inspiration for you today almost totally red. But only almost.
I altered tea box into box for album. I’m sure that London phone cabin should be colored in red color, other colors could be additional. As an additional ones I chose white and a little bit of blue and amazing combination of “Firebird” and “Old Silver” waxes.

I replaced the bottom of the box and as a new one I used decorative element which usually used in interior design. I colored all details with Impasto acrylic paints Poppy Red and Pitch Black. Then I highlighted some places with Impasto Snow White and decorated my booth with Finnabair metal embellishments from various sets – Rusty Labels, Knobs, Hardware accents, Winter Trinkets, Rustic washers etc.

I added on some places texture Graphite paste, then metallique waxes Firebird and Old Silver. The result is awesome! I really like how Graphite paste looks under these waxes and how these waxes look together!

At the final stage, I added photos of our trip to London. I decided to choose photos with stunning London graffiti.

I prepared video tutorial, I hope it inspires you to use the colors that I used

Hugs,
Anastasia (Nastyalena)
