Art Alchemy Metallique Wax - video guide

Hi again - surprise!
I was here yesterday with the first Art Alchemy Reveal Video - talking about Opal Magic Waxes and today I'm back with video nr 2! Would you like to learn more about beautiful, rich metallic looking products? Here you can read more about them:

Art Alchemy Metallique Wax is beautiful, metallic, wax-based paste which will turn your artwork into a real treasure while adding amazing, rich, metal-like finish to most surfaces and elements. Great for applying with your fingers, sponges, and soft cloths. Perfect for adding color and finishing touches to mixed-media and home décor projects. Metallique Wax has a permanent finishing cover giving you great, color-filled, shiny results on dark and light backgrounds.

And there is a video of course!
Short but fun guide to colours and applying of my Metallique Waxes. All for you!

Expect one more video coming very soon - and this weekend, when the final video will be posted we are going to start a GIVEAWAY too, so stay tuned!

huge hugs

Wafted watching all three videos, it is real difficult to choose one line, but I think I would start with Antique Brilliance. I am a multimedia artist, and I could use the waxes in so many ways. Two that come to mind is in my mixed media collage and jewelry making. I can't wait to try them!

How do you seal them? What varnish would work best?

Hi Kimster
I seal mine with @Finnabairs Soft Gloss Gel for a shiney finnish, simply brush it on quickly, for a matte finnish try @Finnabair Soft Matte Gel or even Clear Gesso - I like to use @Finnabairs products to seal with as they don't have the 'high' smell of most varnishes, but where I can get away with it I don't seal as the Waxes rub in really well and there's hardly any contamination:-)))
If you don't want the slight brush marks from the Gels a spray varnish would be kool :-))))

Hi, Kimi, you don't need to seal the waxes, they are completely permanent when dry (this might take from a couple of hours to let's say overnight). If you still want to seal them after they dry, you could do this with some soft gel medium, but as I said this is not necessary. Hope this helps, :) xoxo
