Frost&Shadow - wreszcie razem - finally together :)

Długo czekałam na możliwość pokazania tych dwóch prac razem - powstały w tym samym czasie, a trafiły w dwa, zupełnie rożne miejsca. "Shadow" pokazywałam już wcześniej, przy okazji tematu "Canvas" na blogu Tattered Angels, "Frost" powstał z myślą o publikacji w rosyjskojęzycznej gazecie Scrap-Info - był jedną z prac ilustrującą artykuł o stylu steampunk.
Wreszcie mam w rękach wspominaną wcześniej gazetę i mogę ujawnić cały zamysł autorski. Bardzo na to czekałam! Światło i cień. Przeszłość i przyszłość.
Mechanika i cybernetyka. Steampunk i Cyberpunk. 
I had to wait for a long time to show these 2 canvases toghether and reveal the author's idea - they were made in the same time, but for two different purposes - "Shadow" for the "Canvas" theme on the Tattered Angels blog and "Frost" for the russian magazine Scrap-Info, where it was one of the illustrations for the steampunk focused article.
Finally I have the magazine in my hands and I can share the whole project with you :) I'm so excited about it!

A teraz oglądane z bliska - zimna, syberyjska mechaniczność - czyli "Frost" (czy ktoś mówił, że steampunk to tylko ciemne czerwienie, brązy i odcienie metalu?)
Now the close-ups: cold, syberian mechanisms - "Frost" ( did anyone say that steampunk is only in browns, reds and metalic colors?)

Oraz mroczna, elektroniczna przyszłość - "Shadow" (Uwielbiam te śmieci i kolorystykę i nic na to nie poradzę ;))
And the dark, electronic future - "Shadow" (I just love those pieces of electric rubbish and the colors - I can't help it!)

Zdecydowanie - kolaże na blejtramie to to, co lubię najbardziej. Nic nie sprawia mi tyle frajdy co łączenie tych wszystkich drobiazgów w miarę spójną całość.
Mixedmedia canvases are my deepest love for sure. There's nothin better than putting all those elements together, in one, finished project.
