Fairies gather here by Martina Stoycheva

 Hello everyone!

I`ve never been very much into fairies and tales. Even as a child.

I was wild little girl, always ready to play boy games. Cinderella and fantasies weren`t my thing.

There is probably something connected between purple color and fairies though, because this month I surprised even myself with the idea to create a book cover in that particular theme.

I think it turned out perfect and I used the specific color palette and sparkle.

I have love for altered book covers, so I was in my own zone while creating this one.

Some of my projects take longer to create, tend to go wrong and give me bad surprises, but this one came out smoothly. I believe it has to do with my thirst for mixed media, since these last few months it was a challenge to stay alone and create. Hopefully now that winter time is coming I will get to create some more.

As usual you can find my video tutorial for this project below:

Happy crafting everyone!

Hugs, Martina.

Glitter Christmas Bauble by Kasia Salmanowicz

 Hello!

There is still a long time until Christmas, but that doesn’t mean that decorations can be prepared. I love this time of the year, it is very special, so today I have a Christmas bauble for you with accessories straight from Finnabair.

As a base, I chose a shape made of HDF material, on which I glued a lot of different elements. I chose many pieces from Finn moulds. The designs are various, so there are perfect elements for the bauble too. I used frames in several sizes, beautiful stars, a medallion and a clock face. For this metal embellishments and HDF decors. I glued the whole thing with Heavy Body Gel.

Then after drying, I lightly coloured my design with white Gesso and a bit of water. I wanted my bauble to be very natural, so I chose the brown colour from the Liquid Acrylic Paint series.

To make my bauble shine beautifully, I used a paste with Crushed Ice particles and two sets of glitters to emphasize the effect. Finally, Art Stones mixed with 3d Gloss Gel. Are you interested in the details of the project? Visit our YouTube channel;))

Hugs,

Kasia Salmanowicz

Antique Sea Queen headpiece by Kesho Kage

Hello!

My favourite thing about Fall is that it is the season that merges the spooky and beautiful and everyone is more accepting and appreciative of that art form! It’s definitely my favourite season and in my industry of Makeup art, my creativity is on display! When creating a uniform persona whether it's out of complete body paint, glam, sfx, editorial, or avant-garde make-up, a beautifully decorated headpiece can bring the look together all while giving it a divinity essence. For my Antique Sea Queen I created this headpiece embellished with pieces created and painted using Finnabair Products.

I created the base and shape of my headpiece with Galvanized wire, chicken wire, masking tape, and scrapbooking paper. After choosing my mould design from Finnabair’s extensive selection I created several pieces and then painted them using their heavy gesso, impasto, waxes and Patina effect paste. Once I added pieces of Jewelry to really sell the picture of royalty I was ecstatic with the outcome. Whether you’re creating a headpiece for the 1st or the 100th time, using  Finnabair,s moulds gives you a lightweight option to add beautiful details all while their paints give you the illusion of material and depth to truly stand out!

To see how this particular headpiece was created view It on our Youtube Channel and subscribe to see more and the variety of ways these products open up the creative world!

With Love,

Kesho
