Hello, creative friends! Margarita Shkludova here.
Today I’m sharing a new canvas inspired by the contrast between nature and technology — a quiet dialogue between organic life and mechanical systems.
In this piece, I combined delicate natural elements with fragments of old mechanisms, wires, and electronic details. The soft greens and earthy tones feel alive, while metallic textures and robotic parts bring a sense of structure and control. It creates a slightly mysterious mood — as if nature is slowly reclaiming technology, wrapping it in leaves, textures, and time. There’s a feeling of balance here, but also a question: where do we truly belong?
One of my favorite things in this project is using real electronic parts. If you have a broken device at home, don’t rush to throw it away — take it apart, and you’ll discover so many unique elements for your art. Tiny pieces, wires, textures — each piece can become part of a new creative story.
To hold all these different materials together, I always use Heavy Body Gel by Finnabair. It’s perfect for fixing both natural and mechanical elements, creating a strong and lasting composition.
I invite you to watch the video tutorial on creating this panel. Enjoy watching!
Inspiration is everywhere — even in things we usually forget or discard. Just look a little closer, and you might find something truly special.
See you soon!
