Hello, creative friends! Margarita Shkludova here.
Today I’m sharing my new mixed-media canvas with you.
This piece was inspired by the quiet magic of nature reclaiming what once belonged to it. The idea of a forest slowly covering forgotten machines — wrapping them in moss, rust, and roots — feels both mysterious and hopeful. It’s as if the earth whispers, “come back home.”
To create this textured, layered look, I used the new moulds by Finnabair. They add so much beautiful dimension — from delicate gears to organic shapes that blend perfectly with the natural theme. I painted everything with Impasto paints and metallic waxes in gold, bronze, and patina tones, giving the piece an aged, mystical glow.
For me, this project is a gentle reminder that creativity and nature always find balance. Even in a world of metal and dust, life finds a way to bloom again.
I invite you to watch the video tutorial on creating this canvas. Enjoy watching!
Let your art grow like wild moss — quietly, freely, and beautifully.
See you soon!
