Hello,
Autumn always inspires me to reach for warm colors and rich textures. This decor was created on an HDF base using rice paper and a sheet from the 'Butterfly Effect' paper collection by 7 Dots Studio and Finnabair. The focal point is the mushrooms, surrounded by autumnal colors and details. They give the entire piece a welcoming feel for the new season.
I built the layers with metal elements and flowers, clay accents, HDF decors from Finn moulds, and dry sticks. I highlighted the whole thing with media that added depth and a subtle sheen. This was achieved using a series of Liquid Acrylic paints in vibrant colors. The result? A decor that combines various materials into one composition and beautifully captures the atmosphere of autumn.
There were also some sparkly accents. I used a paste with flecks of foil and glitter. You can find a link to the products used from the Mixed Media Place store at the bottom of this post.
This project will be perfect as an interior decoration and inspiration for autumn evenings.
