Signs of Winter by Lori Woods

Hello creative friends! The festive season is my favourite to create- it's cold and dark outside and there’s nothing better than sitting cosy inside with a hot cup of tea and allowing your creative imagination to wander!

For this project Finnabair’s new Steam and Frost collection was perfect. I wanted to create a small project containing lots of elements of winter. I started by painting my base and adding stencil detail. I coloured various mould elements using the Pearls and Crystals mica set. Small frame moulds are great to use with scraps of decoupage paper left over from other projects.

I layered the moulds into a design I was happy with and then added extra embellishments with mechanicals and art pebbles. Waxes, snowflake paste and crushed ice paste helped to add detail and highlighted areas over the project.

Christmas Bauble by Kasia Salmanowicz

 Hello!

It's December, so it's time to create some unique decorations! As always, the indispensable Finnabair products will be here to help. Anna surprised us with another new release, including paper elements with characters and beautiful frames. Plus, color-coordinated media sets. Be sure to grab them so you don't miss out on so many creative possibilities.

For my project, I used one of the HDF bases, which you're probably already familiar with from my other creative projects. Add fiber paper, some clay and moulds, a few metal accessories, and you've got a unique vintage-themed bauble.

I highly recommend giving it a try, and if you're not quite sure how, be sure to check out our YouTube channel, where you'll find tons of inspiration.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas,

Kasia Salmanowicz

Be the change by Szafranowe Twory

Hi Creative Souls!

Have you ever tried decoupage on a round surface?

It was my first time! But this clock was practically begging for it!

And it turned out not to be difficult at all with the new decoupage papers.

Plus those adorable flowers and cogs from the moulds, a bit of waxes, and the Lady from the newest ephemera!

I love this clock in its new version - what about you?
