Surprise! I'm a part of... Life Book 2014!

Ha! Great to see you again my friends - I've got amazing news to share!
One day I opened my a bit cluttered mailbox and found a totally unexpected, surprising, breathtaking, astonishing.. (here you can insert all the suitable words to describe this feeling:)) message from Tam Laporte, creator of Willowing Arts... and classes that were always on my "bucket list"! And you know what? Looks like this year I'm going to be one of the crew of Life Book 2014!

Can you believe that? I still can't - it is a great and really unexpected honor to join the team of  Artists of THIS size... I can't hide the pressure is high, and I'm a bit hyperventilating thinking about all this event coming in the near future... OMG. Is it really true?

But there is also a great news for you my friends
- to celebrate this happy occasion I can GIVEAWAY one free spot on Life Book 2014!
The only thing you need to do is to leave me a comment below saying what would you like to learn (in general - not only through this online course!) during next year? I'd be happy to read about your dreams and plans! I'll pick randomly one winner next week (3rd October) and announce the name of the lucky person on the blog!

Thank you for offering the chance to win a spot in the next LifeBook Anna ;D I would most like to learn to develop my own style. I realize that it comes with practice, but I also feel that high quality art instruction from a variety of teachers can help the process tremendously. I'd love to win a spot for next year's class <3

Congrats Anna!!! There are so many talented teachers, and I would love to learn from all of you. You mentioned about what dreams I have. My dream is to not be afraid. Example: I watch you youtube channel or blog and see amazing art and creativity. It inspires me. I look at a blank canvas and I don't know where to begin. I'm afraid of failing and I continue to see white. I want to be able to have confidence to try things and to get dirty:) and not just with art but with life. I think that being taught by amazing artists who dive into life and art will help me to do the same. Thanks for this chance. Have an amazing year!!

WOW! What an honour Ania!!! Of course, we know you'll rock the socks off Lifebook 2014. It's all coming together, you're stars are aligned Finn!! Must be the big move :)

Holy crap, such an opportunity, who knows where to begin! Your classes have taught me SO much, not just techniques but also allowing 'yourself' to let go of the superficial top level stuff and really enjoy the zone you fall into when creating from the inside. It is like it is somehow changing my life? I am actually viewing things in a different way? How is this possible? Is it possible?! Since both your classes, I am STILL learning through your words (beautiful accent incl, which i have on my mp3!) over and over how to create this way. You're already helped me to stop comparing my work to others, given me confidence to share my own work and lastly, those words of yours that stream through my head, time and time again... and they are "knowing when to STOP" Shrieking 'enough' 'leave it alone' "STOP" lol!! Your voice haunt me every time!! True. So there you go, you are still inspiring my work when you're long gone. And that right there is what makes you such a unique and profound artist.

Alrighty. Above all the emotional creativity that is just busting out, the area I need to concentrate on is COMPOSITION & COLOUR.

I have all the tools, techniques, products, ideas, inspiration and so on, but alas, i am yet to conquer C&C. I follow your words in my mind when constructing my pieces but there is still something yet to click.

2014 I will quench my thirst and learn this. This is just the path i need :)

Keep being authentic x

Hi Anna, Life Book 2014 looks amazing, so many incredible teachers, including you of course, that I would love to learn from. There are so many things I want to learn more about, such as putting colours together, layering textures, being more spontaneous in my work.... I could go on & on. :)

I'd love to take this class. So many wonderful teachers and so much to learn. How can you not want to be a part of all that wonderfulness?

I'd love to be a part of Life Book this next year. There's much I want to learn next year. I will retiring in June, which will give me much more time to create art (yayyy!), but put me on a substantially smaller, fixed income(not so "yayyy!"). I want to learn how to live more simply while becoming more and more in touch with my creativity. I want to look inward and find my inner wisdom, learn the lessons it has to teach me. Art will be integral to this process, and Life Book would be perfect!

Living a creative life has always been very important to me. I grew up knowing I wanted to be an artist. I remember my mom telling people I was born with a paint brush in my hands. Somewhere along the way… journeying through life I got lost…I was still being creative as a wife and mother, but I went for years with my at supplies packed up. Recently, as I’ve watched one of my daughters who is so incredibly creative and see her spend almost every extra minute of every day creating it reminds me of just how important is is and how much I miss not digging in deeper and spending more time doing my art. She just can’t get through a day without creating something. Watching her has taught me to move beyond the fear and bring art back into my life daily and intently. This is something I’ve been working on the past few years. I’ve unpacked my supplies and even bought a few new. I’ve taken some online courses and have been trying to take steps back into painting and creating new art. It’s been a bit scarey but I look forward to living a more creative life. This course is just what I need to continue to grow as an artist on my creative journey. I would love to have the opportunity to learn from so many talented artists. It would be a huge blessing!

I know this is a big ask from any class or person, but I want to learn how to reach and unlock the creative person inside and my biggest fear is that there will be nothing there when I do reach inside.
