Treasures of the Past – Mixed Media Tag by Priss

Hello, creative souls! Welcome to my little space in the Finnabair Studio! I’m Priss BlaFu (@artful.layers), and today I’m bringing you a romantic mixed media tag full of textures, tiny details, and a touch of nostalgia.

Since this is my very first post here, let me tell you that I’m beyond excited to join this amazing Creative Team. My art is all about mixing textures, colors, and emotions to tell little visual stories, and this piece is no exception. Inspired by vintage stamps, lace, and timeless shades of blue, this tag feels like holding a fragment of a forgotten memory.

You can watch the full step-by-step process in my latest reel on Instagram.

My "treasures from the past" are laces and silk ribbons—so I’d love to know, what’s yours?

Thanks for visiting! I hope this project whispers to your muse and makes you want to grab your art supplies right now.

Until our next creative adventure, keep your heart messy and your hands full of paint.

Art Is Good For You by Szafranowe Twory

Hey!

I'll be honest with you - I love painting trash the most!

Luckily, Finnabair products are just perfect for that.

This time, I gave new life to an old palette and some worn-out brushes.

Impasto paints and waxes helped me create this amazing transformation!

What do you think of my “trash”?

Adventure Awaits by Judith Tijsen

Hello everyone. Welcome to my first post for the new Finnabair Creative Team.

My name is Judith Tijsen, and I live in the Netherlands. It's so exciting to be writing my first post for you and hopefully providing you with lots of great inspiration. Perhaps many of you are familiar with my creations.

You'll undoubtedly know that I always love lots of color in my creations, and the creation in my first post is no exception.

The base of my project is a 30 cm round hdf board. I decorated this with a stencil, crackle paste, and metallic acrylic paints. On top of this is a smaller base using the same technique. I decorated this whole thing with lots of resin elements, colored with various acrylic paints and waxes. I hope I've been able to inspire you with my project.

You can see the details, the composition, the materials and the techniques that I have used in this video tutorial.
