Prima - czy to możliwe? - is it possible?

Tyle emocji, że aż trudno je wyrazić:)
Ogromne zaskoczenie, niedowierzanie i wielka wielka radość - te wszystkie uczucia kłębią się we mnie do tej pory, i choć to prawie niemożliwe wszystko wskazuje, że jednak to nie bajka: Prima zdecydowała się wziąć takiego niepokornego ducha jak ja od swoje skrzydła...!
Cieszę się tym bardziej, że razem ze mną w grupie projektowej znalazło się kilka "znajomych twarzy", a co najważniejsze - dzielę to wyróżnienie wraz z dwoma super zdolnymi Polkami: Primową weteranką,  Karolą oraz początkującą zupełnie jak ja Anną-Marią. To będzie DOBRY ROK!!! 
It is so emotional and exciting, that it is almost impossible to express :)
With a great surprise and great happiness I can announce today that one of my favorite brands, Prima decided to take me into their new Design Team - I still can't believe it!
What makes me even more happy - I  can find a bunch of "friendly faces" in the same team, and what is the most important, there are 2 more polish girls in the same group: one more experienced - Karola and the second one, new in the team - Anna-Maria. They both do breathtaking projects ... and -to be honest - all of this international team is  amazingly creative. This will be a good year, I promise!!!

A to jeszcze nie wszystko!
Na Stronie Dusty Attic trwa aktualnie wyzwanie, w którym tworzymy prace inspirowane stylem projektantek z Design Teamu tejże firmy. Aktualnie wypada kolej na mnie... :) Serdecznie zapraszam do zabawy i "podglądania" jak finnowe prace widzą inni - przyznam, że dla mnie to bardzo pouczające i rozwijające wydarzenie.
But it is not all! On the Dusty Attic site there is a new challenge, inspired wit the Design Team members' styles - ant it is m turn now! Please come and join the fun  - for me it is a very important, self-developing experience and all the designers are doing great scrapping job!

A teraz trochę danych o mnie... (inglisz)

And now - some more fun! Here are some things you may not know about me...

 1.    I am from Warsaw, Poland and I am currently designing for Tattered Angels and 2 polish shops: Scrapki.pl and Lemonade Stamps. I'm also a sponsored designer for Dusty Attic and Layers of Color. I also design for challenge blogs like Creative Therapy or Подари кусочек счастья....

2.    I live with my husband, Jędrek, beagle named Ira and 2 parrots.

3.    On my desk right now you will find a big pile of metal rubbish, some paper doilies and a lot of ink.

4.    My favourite colours to work with at the moment are black, white, cream... and many many more!

5.    What kind of themes do you often scrap?

Most of the times I treat scrapping as a wa of expresing myself - I do it for my own pleasure and to show my emotions, interests, moods. I usually try to put a piece of mysef in every single project I do. On the other hand I love scrapping the old family photos - my albums and layouts are also a kind of a family keepsake for me.

6.    Where do you scrap?

I've got a big desk and a scrapping corner in one of our rooms. I wish I had a whole room ust for me - but in the flat it is impossible.

7.    What is your scrapping process? 

It depends: when I do mixedmedia projects I usually start with an idea or at last a part of it - I can see the the canvas or altered item ready or almost done. It changs of course during the process, but I like surprises:) With traditional paper pages i usually start with a photo and a blank paper - I wait for the first idea and I just start scrapping :)

8.    My favourite food is hot and spicy, usuall with chesse.

9.    My top 3 favourite tools are sprayers, edge distresser and a inking tool.

10. I get my inspiration from all that is around me - the city, people, music, other scrappers and mixed-media artists work. I enjoy looking through galleries and visiting flea markets. I also get inspiration from products - stamps, masks, paint... inspiration is everywhere!

11. My technique for this week is painting with gesso. It is a very easy idea, which you can use both for your backgrounds and embellishments. On this layout i placed all the embellishments around the photo and colored them (and a bit of background too) with 3 shades of blue Glimer Mist. When it was dry I took a bit of gesso on the big, dry paintbrush and painted the embellies and background - very light and delicate. The final effect depends on how much paint do you use - the more gesso, the less "colorfu" layout you get. Have a good time with creating!

Ranek - Morning *Tattered Angels*

Poranki bywają trudne. Moje najczęściej takie właśnie są, bo zazwyczaj chodzę późno spać. Rano wyglądam jak zmora i potrzebuję dużo czasu, aby się obudzić. Hm, właśnie.
Tym scrapem staram się nastawić pozytywnie;) Nie każdy poranek musi być koszmarem... może być kobieco, różowo, buduarowo... z dużą ilością tuszów i Glimmer Mistów od Tattered Angels :)
Kolory to najnowsza #49 Paleta The Color Room. Słodka, prawda?

The mornings might be hard. Mine are usually very hard, because I go to sleep late almost everyday. In the morning I look like as a scarecrow and I needa lot of time to really wake up.
In this layout I want to show the positive aspects - not every morning has to be the nightmare... it can be feminine, soft, pink - with a lot of inks and Glimmer Mists from Tattered Angels.
The colors are inspired b the latest TCR# 49 Palette - sweet, aren't they?

W powyższej pracy użyłam Glimmer Mistów w 3 odcieniach różu: Tattered Rose, Creme de Rouge i Juneberry Wine. Posłużyły mi zarówno do stworzenia sprayowo - maskowego tła jak i pokolorowania sznurkowych kwiatków, tasiemek i kordonkowych kółeczek.  Proste - i efektowne!
On this layout, “Morning” I used 3 colors of pink Glimmer Mist: Tattered Rose, Creme de Rouge and Juneberry Wine - First I sprayed the background and I used the stencil to create nice, soft-looking dots. My next step was stamping with different background stamps – and finally coloring the embellishments – fabric flowers, crochet dots, cotton ribbon and pieces of cotton rope I formed into a flower shape. Easy – and so fun!

Rozbielony grunge - Whitewashed grunge

Katar wrócił na dobre dziś w nocy. Powitałam go jak starego przyjaciela, podałam mu chusteczki i herbatę z cytryną, wyglądał na zadowolonego. Walka trwa, a przede mną pracujący wekend ;) Hura.
Dziś pokazuję efekt pracy z najnowszą, #44 paletą The Color Room - zadanie było o tyle trudniejsze,że tym razem nie wolno użyć żadnego koloru spoza palety... ;) Zapraszam do zabawy o tutaj!
My cold is back. I welcomed it as an old friend coming back home, I gave it some tissues and some hot lemon tea. It was pleased, I think. The "cold fighting" is in progress, but I've got a weekend at work coming... Yay.

Walcząc z kolorem - Color fighting

W ostatnim tygodniu czekały na mnie aż 2 poważne zabawy kolorystyczne, czyli ten rodzaj wyzwania, który osobiście uważam za jeden z trudniejszych:) Pierwszym z nich jest zabawa z czernią, bielą... i jeszcze jednym kolorem, zaproponowana na blogu Подари кусочек счастья. Generalnie ten zestaw kolorystyczny przemawia do mnie bardzo, więc zrobinie scrapka nie zajęło mi dużo czasu:

Last week I had 2 great color challenges to participate in - the first one was Black, white and one extra color for Подари кусочек счастья blog.I really adore b&w, so creating this layout was a pure pleasure and I  rather quick - my colors are black, white and yellow.

Główną role zagrały tu stemple - spaniałe kółka zaprojektowane przez Michelle Ward (Green Pepper Press), które z zasadzie pomogły mi zbudować całą kompozycję pracy. Drugi mocny akcent to kwiaty i ćwieki marki "Dolina Tęczy" (Craftmania.pl) - szczególnie spodobał mi się ten okrągły, w kolorze mosiężnym, który umieściłam wewnątrz większego ze stemplowanych kół. Jako dodatkowe akcenty - szycie zygzakowe, trochę taśmy, rub-onsy 7Gypsies...i gotowe!

The main part of the Layout composition are great stamps by Michelle Ward (Green Pepper Press), which I totally adore. The second accents are beautiful brads and white flowers from Craftmania.pl. - I used  golden ones and a big round brass one in the middle of the biggest circle. Then I added some machine stiching, tissue tapes, and 7Gypsies rub-ons. Ready!

Kwiaty i ćwieki z "Doliny Tęczy" są także najważniejszymi elementami mojej drugiej pracy - kartki (!) na najnowsze wyzwanie The Color Room - Paleta #42. W tym wyzwaniu naszym zadaniem było nie tylko użycie podanego schematu kolorystycznego, ale także "zliftowanie" stylu jednej ze współprojektantek! Ja w losowaniu trafiłam na super utalentowaną, kartkującą Melissę Phillips, wiec nie pozostało mi nic innego, jak tylko zakasać rękawy, zacisnąć zęby, wciągnąć głęboki haust Melissowej inspiracji i zlepić kartkę jak najwierniej imitująca jej styl. Uf. Z pomocą przyszły mi świetne, białe kwiatki z Craftmanii, eleganckie perłowe ćwieki i  nieco Glimmer Mistów...
Cute fluffy flower and elegant brads  from Craftmania are also the most important elements of the The Color Room card (!), which was made for the Palette#42 challenge. Our challenge was this time double - not only to use the colors but also to lift the other designer's style! Here is my card inspired by a great, talented cardmaker, Melissa Phillips. I hope I caught her style at last a bit!

Dodam jeszcze, że mój, finnowy styl (ponoć istnieje coś takiego ;)) liftowała niesamowita Iris Babao Uy - koniecznie musicie zobaczyć także zmagania naszej Karoli ze scrapem w stylu Steph... wszystkie dziewczyny przeszły same siebie!Serdecznie zapraszam do zabawy - paleta czeka, podobnie jak wyzwanie, aby zliftować jedną z projektantek TCR! Ma nadzieję, zobaczyć Wasze prace w Colorroomowej galerii.

I want to add that I had a great honor to be lifted b the amazivgly talented Iris Babao Uy - you just have to check her creation! Wschód Słońca - Sunrise

"Wschód Słońca" - a raczej niewielka wariacja na jego temat... Kolory The Color Room#41.
Noc umyka przed pierwszymi delikatnymi promieniami słońca, malując kolory na jaśniejącym ponad miastem niebie. Można już wyłowić wzrokiem nie tylko kontury budynków, ale i detale, również te mniej urodziwe, łaskawie jeszcze półprzykryte warstewką mroku. Miasto jest mgliste, różowe, złotawe... Pachną świeże bułki i poranne gazety. Miasto wstaje.

"Sunrise" or to be  more exact - my interpretation in the colors of The Color Room#41.

Imagine: the night escapes from the first, delicate rays of sunlight, painting shiny colors on the city sky. You can se not only the buildings, but also the details - notalways the pretty ones - graciusly half-covered with a blanket of darkness. The city is misty, pink and gold i colors... You can smell the freshly baked rolls and the freshly printe newspapers too... The city wakes up.

Lubię metalowe przedmioty. Jest w nich coś pewnego i stałego... to pociąga. A przez Agnieszkę-Annę, nigdy już nie spojrzę na sztućce obojętnie. Nigdy.

I like metal objects. There is something reliable and permanent in them. It's attracting... And because of Agnieszka-Anna the cutlery will never be just plain household objects.

Jak na mnie - nawet bardzo kolorowo;) Poniżej wynik walki z iście zabójczą #34 paletą The Color Room. Nie wiem, kto wygrał, ale nie poddałam się bez walki.

W barwach jesieni - In the colours of Autumn

Jesień mamy bez wątpienia - wieje, pada, jest depresyjnie - a przecież jest jeszcze to drugie oblicze tej pory roku, prawda? Gdzie sie podziewa Złota Polska Jesień? Nie mogłaby nas jeszcze troszkę nawiedzić?
Namiastką niech będzie nowa paleta The Color Room - pełna pomarańczu, czerwieni, żółci  brązu - zapraszam do zabawy!
Poniżej moja walka z wyzwaniem - niestety aparat nie dał rady oddać pełnej gradacji kolorów... :(

Kolorowo! - Colorfully!

Życie potrafi zaskakiwać.
Moje najwyraźniej postanowiło zaskoczyć mnie na całego - od palców u stóp do czubka głowy:)
Nigdy, naprawdę przenigdy nie podejrzewałam, że w mojej skrzynce może czekać na mnie TAKIE zaproszenie!!!
Uwierzycie? Ja? Jako jedna z sił projektowych The Color Room - międzynarodowej strony  z wyzwaniami ?! Na dodatek - kolorystycznymi??!! Finn i jej zębatki w zabawach z paletami barw- zaiste może być to ciekawe doświadczenie... bo wyzwaniem będzie dla mnie na pewno:)
Nie mogłam się nie zgodzić. Perspektywa zabawy z tyloma zdolnymi kobietami, których prace znam i których talenty bardzo szanuję, to prawdziwe scrapowy zaszczyt :) Zresztą - sprawdźcie same skład grupy projektowej: toż to naprawdę "silna grupa pod wezwaniem" :) Dodatkowo cieszy mnie bardzo, że będę - obok Karoli - drugą polską scraperką w składzie. Sporo "naszych" dziewczyn bierze udział w wyzwaniach  mam nadzieję, że oznacza to, że Polski scrap został zauważony na świecie i liczę, że jeszcze wiele przed nami :)
This time my life caught me by surprise - I couldn't believe my eyes, when I found in my mailbox THIS invitation! Me? Grungy, freaky Finn as a member of The Color Room creative team?! How come?!
Of course I couldn't say "no" - the perspective of creative fun with those talented, adorable ladies and possibility to push myself a bit further - it was like a dream coming true! What is also important for me - I'm the second polish girl, after Karola, invited to the team. There are many polish gils playing in TCR and I hope it means that polish scrapbooking were noticd in the industry and there is more coming for Poland soon:)

A poniżej - moja debiutancka praca w barwach palety TCR#29 - oczywiście po przekonstruowaniu jej na mój system postrzegania ;) Nie jestem z niej zadowolona, ale liczę, że następnym razem się poprawię!

This is my first project - with the TCR#29 pallete, converted to be more "me" of course. I'm not satisfied with this creation though, but I hope to do better next time!
I'd love to invite you to The Color Room and maybe start playing along with us and trying yourself in TCR challenges - the door is wide open!

Na zdjęciu jest oczywiście moja Babcia - Helena. Zdecydowanie jest najcierpliwszą i najwdzięczniejsza modelką w rodzinie:)
On the photo you can se my dear grandma - Helena. She is the most patient and grateful model io our family!

Materiały: Papier bazowy jasny, pasta strukturalna i spraye wodne (Glimmer Mists), gesso, materiałowe kwiaty, śmieci i  koraliki z mojej kolekcji,  guziki, taśma filmowa Tima H., elementy zegarkowe, perełki, rameczka. Wszystko razem przeszyte i wy tuszowane czarnym Distressem.
Supplies: paper base in light colour, molding paste, gesso, water sprays (Glimmer Mists), fabric flowers, Tim's film strip, watches and other stuff from my collection. All inked with black Distress and stiched on my sewing machine :)
