Sea Treasures Mixed Media Tag by Emilia

Join me while I create a beautiful sea-inspired mixed media tag on the MDF base.

Grab some small treasures and play with them :)

The base can have totally different shapes, mine is the shape of a tag but a circle would also look great! I used some Finnabair moulds to make resin embellishments - frames and bottles. I gathered small bits and pieces and created a layered composition.

I invite you to watch my video and be inspired!

Some kind of wonderful by Emilia Sieradzan

For a wonderful person! A unique handmade gift on an MDF base.

Featuring beautiful Finnabair moulds - resin frames.

I started with a simple circle MDF shape, usually, I would paint it and add texture but this time I decided to use pattern paper as the background.

I used 2 different papers but in very similar colours.

Once the papers was adhered I started to work on the composition. The idea was to make monochrome home decor. To achieve it I painted resin frames with chocolate acrylic paint and added white & brown flowers.

It all worked nicely together :)

If you would like to see the whole process of creating - watch my video:

Thanks so much and see you soon!

Love

Emilia

Mixed Media Music Inspired Canvas by Emilia Sieradzan

Hi :)

Emilia here with another mixed-media canvas. This time inspired by music and the feeling, when I’m listening to my fav songs. I feel like flying, free, light as a feather.

I used some of the new moulds to create resin elements - light bulbs and frames. I started with choosing the embellishment, then work on the composition. I was experimenting and having fun while making the canvas without a plan or an idea.

I love the light bulbs! They look so cool here and I know I’ll be using these often :)

While creating I abandoned my usual routine and also wasn't waiting for the things to dry completely before moving to the next step and I was surprised that it actually worked out well :)

Take a look at my video if you are curious about the steps I took to achieve such a result:

Lavender Mixed Media Canvas by Emilia Sieradzan

Hi all it’s Emilia here!

I’m back with a project that I really enjoyed creating. I took a small canvas and decided to decorate the reverse side of it. Starting with a crackle texture paste that created an absolutely gorgeous background for my composition.

I do not often use lavender colour in my work but Prima Aquarelle Dreams collection inspired me to do it!

The large frame I made out of resin and painted with my French Lavender acrylic paint. On top, I added a layer of white gesso to achieve the washed effect.

If you would like to see each step I took to achieve the finished project, watch my video :)
