Valentine's Day Tag by Kasia Salmanowicz

February is upon us, and with it, Valentine's Day, the holiday of love. It was the perfect time for me to incorporate a subtle touch of this occasion into the project. That's why the heart became the focal point of the work, around which I built the entire composition.

The project was created using mixed media techniques using a new product from Finnabair. I used a mix of various mold elements, which offer truly enormous possibilities for building texture and depth. I love multi-layered work that can be explored step by step, and these products are perfect for that.

For the coloring, I used Liquid Acrylic Paints in quite vibrant shades. Finally, I gently toned them down with white gesso to give the whole thing character. As usual, I also included some browns, as that's where I feel most comfortable and enjoy creating.

Finnabair has once again surprised us with beautiful new products! The moulds are stunning in their variety of patterns and details. I was captivated by Rusty Flowers, Fresh Foliage, and Letterpress Numbers, so these were the first patterns I decided to use.

I created a project based on HDF in the shape of a tag with a frame, onto which I glued another product from the new releases: Decoupage Fiber Paper, full of vibrant colors and patterns that provide a beautiful backdrop for the project.

Rise & Shine in Black – Mixed Media Tag by Priss

Hello, creative souls! I’m Priss BlaFu (@artful.layers), and today I’m sharing a wooden tag full of drama created for the September Release.

I started with a black background, using a stencil with 3D Gloss Gel and Sparks Raven Black to give it a moody texture. For the decoration, I played with the brand-new Finnabair moulds (and I’m seriously in love with them!), painting the details with Sparks Carnival and Masquerade. The focal point of this piece is the gorgeous scarab beetle, finished with Metallique waxes to make it shine with magical iridescence.

It’s a little darker than my usual style, but I absolutely loved exploring these Sparks paints for the first time. They are pure magic!
