Art journal page by Lanette

Hello, all you amazing creative people!

Today I'm excited to share an Art Journal page that I created using a beautiful mix of Finnabair favorites! For the foundation, I started with a sheet from the Stargazer Collection, then built up layers of rich color and texture using paints and gorgeous Metallic Flakes. I love how the vibrant blues, touches of gold, and dimensional textures came together to create a dreamy, artistic background for my focal collage.

One of my favorite things about art journaling is the freedom to experiment. There are no rules—just layers, textures, and creativity leading the way. It's the perfect place to play with your favorite mixed media products and see where the creative journey takes you!

If you'd like to see exactly how this page came together, be sure to check out my start-to-finish process video over on the Finnabair YouTube Channel, where I walk you through each step from the first layer to the finishing details.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I truly hope this project inspires you to pull out your favorite supplies, embrace the creative process, and spend a little time making something just for you.

Until next time... Hugs, and have FUN creating!

Lanette

Vintage wooden box by Kasia Salmanowicz

 Hello!

I always love using papers from the Butterfly Effect collection by Finnabair and 7 Dots Studio. They fit my style perfectly, making the creative process a real pleasure.

This time, I’ve decorated the lid of a flat wooden box. The base is a sheet from the Butterfly Effect collection, complemented by pre-cut elements from two new sets that come together to form a beautiful composition.

I also added driftwood sticks, lace scraps, HDF elements, and paper flowers from Prima. I arranged all the decorations to create a dimensional look, giving the project depth and an interesting structure. Finally, I lightly whitewashed the piece and finished it off with Art Stones, which added extra texture to the composition.

If you’d like to see the step-by-step creation process, I invite you to watch the video tutorial I prepared. The video is available on the Finnabair YouTube channel.

Enjoy the video, and see you next time for more inspiration!

Have a nice day,

Kasia Salmanowicz

Grow your wings by Szafranowe Twory

 Hey there!

I absolutely love painting on trash, so I was over the moon when my husband gave me some old motherboards from a few random computers 😅

This time, I used one of them as the background for this rather unusual piece of decor!

Admit it - aren't flowers and gears a match made in heaven? I painted them with impasto paint, followed by liquid acrylics and waxes. Plus, my favorite Lady from the ephemera se - she goes with everything, but wings suit her exceptionally well!

How do you like my project?
