Industrialny Barok - seria warsztatów
Industrialny Barok – warsztaty mixedmediowo – scrapbnookingowe, których wspólnym mianownikiem jest wielowarstwowość, bogactwo techniczne, praca z szeroką gamą mediów oraz obfitość różnorodnych elementów użytych do konstrukcji prac. Industrialny Barok to brudzenie palców, uruchomianie wyobraźni i przekraczanie granic. 


Grunge, czyli „śmieciowanie” jest stylem, który w mojej opinii jest kwintesencją zabawy: treścią, formą i szczegółem. Na projektach tego typu mogłoby się znaleźć praktycznie wszystko, co trafi twórcy w ręce. Ten styl jest najczęściej definiowany jako ciężki, „męski”, techniczny – ja chciałbym pokazać Wam jednak jego inną stronę – tę bogatą, szaloną i - być może - bardziej kobiecą? Może nazwijmy ją umownie - industrialnym barokiem... 
 Podczas tych warsztatów zamierzam przekonać Was o tym, że stworzenie pracy zahaczającej o styl grunge wcale nie jest trudne. Postaram się udowodnić, że w scrapbookingu ogranicza nas tylko nasza własna kreatywność, a codzienne przedmioty są doskonałym dodatkiem do naszych prac... co więcej, to właśnie one dodają im charakteru. W trakcie zajęć pokażę przykłady projektów z tego nurtu, przedstawię swoje doświadczenia w komponowaniu layoutów i przedstawię techniki, dzięki którym można otrzymać inspirujące efekty. Wyjaśnię jak zastosować wybrane materiały i media tworząc wraz z uczestnikami pełny, „barokowy” scrap - krok po kroku. 
„Industrialny Barok” to warsztaty, które pozwalają opanować wiele popularnych – i mniej popularnych technik, spróbować różnorodnych farb, mediów i niekonwencjonalnych połączeń – to czysta przyjemność komponowania, zapadania się w kolejne warstwy, budowania struktury i koloru.

Industrial Baroque - range of classes

Paper Layout Classes based on mixedmedia and scrapbookintg techniques. Their common part is multi-layering, richness of techniques. using a wide range of mediums and loads of  elements to create one-of-a kind, personalized project. Industrial Baroque is time for making your fingers dirty, creativity flowing and pushing the boundaries of your imagination. 

Grunge is a style, which is, in my opinion, the essence of creative fun and freedom: you can put almost everything on your project and be happy with the effect you got. You may give as much or as little elements as you want, you may use medias and inks… Grunge is usually considered as “boyish” or “men” style, but I'd like to convince you that it also as the more feminine, crazy, eclectic side – let's call it “industrial baroque”.
 During classes I will try to convince you that creating a grungy, eclectic layout is not hard at all - and the only boundaries you have are those made by your imagination! I will make you look again at your embellishments and how you possibilities of using everyday objects as a part of your composition, giving them the uniqueness, personal touch and grungy style. I will show you finished projects and share my experiences from the creative process. On each class I will create with the students a full size layout including products from well known manufacturers and demonstrate possibilities of mixing different medias, scrapbooking supplies and found objects to get baroque look of your project.
"Industrial Baroque" is a perfect combination of fun, experiment and playing with composition, color and texture.

We all have our favorite, old family photos, which surely deserve to be exposed in a really unique layout, with your own mixed media „personal touch”. Aren't you tired with traditional, multi-paper scrapbooking projects and popular embellishments? Let me inspire you with some really cool ideas for creative, totally customized backgrounds – and - I promise – you will love the process of making them! You really don't need more than some ink, gesso, paint and paper to create an interesting composition! Let yourself to play with sprays, inks, stamps, pencils and watercolors and look through your stash in search for embellishments that you've already forgotten or didn't know how to use. Collect some old fabric, trims and paper tape and have great fun - the possibilities of using these supplies are truly amazing... and I'm sure you'l love the effect!

During this class I will share with you my experiences in creating non-conventional old-photo layouts or pages based on my favorite ink techniques: painting and drawing, spraying, ink-dropping, multi-layered stamping and distressing. I'll show you several finished projects which will inspire you to experiment with colors and textures, I will and give some tips about layout composition and page balance. I'll tell you more about creating and customizing embellishments, using vintage or flea market findings and I will show you some possibilities of using such supplies as lace, canvas, fabric and paper tape. During this class we will create together full size layout based on stamps, gesso and color products from well known manufacturers.

Make a vintage scrapbooking page or journal page with a color twist, play with layers and texture – it is so fun! Don't be afraid to express yourself.... and get your fingers dirty with ink!

 Inky Fingers
– (czyli „potuszowane paluszki”) to warsztat przeznaczony zarówno dla początkujących jak i zaawansowanych rękodzielników. W trakcie zajęć wprowadzone będą elementy sprayowania, stemplowania, używania masek oraz transferowania.

Chcielibyście, aby wasze prace, były naprawdę niepowtarzalne? Standardowe dodatki rękodzielnicze to dla Was „za mało”? A może macie ochotę spróbować czegoś innego, niż tradycyjny, papierowy scrapbooking?
Podczas tego warsztatu mam nadzieję zainspirować i pokazać kilka pomysłów na efektowne, interesujące prace opierające się w zasadzie na jednym papierze... naprawdę nie potrzeba wiele więcej!  Na praktycznie gładkim tle można stworzyć swoje własne, unikalne wzory, zaplanować cały scrap krok po kroku i na dodatek doskonale się bawić eksperymentując z tuszami, sprayami i stemplami: możliwości ich użycia są ogromne!
Podczas zajęć będziemy tworzyć 2 prace ( w formacie 30x30 cm) z wykorzystaniem technik najbardziej przeze mnie ulubionych: maskowania, sprayowania, „rozlewania” oraz wielowarstwowego stemplowania. Powiemy nieco o projektowaniu i kompozycji prac, obejrzymy kilka gotowych „inspiracji” oraz przede wszystkim poeksperymentujemy z produktami znanych światowych firm (między innymi Glimmer Mist i Chalkboard Glimmer Mist od Tattered Angels). Podpowiem jak w kreatywny sposób można stworzyć  własne dodatki – przy użyciu prostych, dostępnych elementów oraz jak w kreatywny sposób użyć „sticky back canvas” czyli samoprzylepnego płótna, idealnego między innymi do prostych transferów.
Pozwól sobie na trochę kolorowego, tuszowego szaleństwa – stwórz razem z nami niezobowiązujące, a przy tym emocjonalne, ekspresyjne prace – i nie bój się ubrudzić palców... to najlepsza część zabawy!

Do you want to have some creative fun, go artsy playing with paint, inks, stains...or something even more surprising? Maybe you feel it is high time to try using some more white negative space?
Let me inspire you with some really cool ideas for creative, totally customized mixed media paper layouts! You really don't need a lot to create a spectacular project – let yourself to play with sprays, inks, stamps and have great fun with designing your project from the very beginning to the surprisingly energetic end. The possibilities are truly amazing... and experimenting with them is pure fun!
During this class I will share with you my experiences in creating layouts based on my favorite ink techniques: splashing, spraying, ink-dropping, stamping and painting I'll show you several finished projects which will inspire you to experiment with color and show you how to “embrace the imperfections” ! Will give some tips about layout composition and page balance, especially on negative space based projects. I'll tell you more about using paper, fabric and paint go get layers and show you some cool techniques for creating artsy, freestyle pages.
During this class I create with a group a full sized, freestyle layout based on mixed media techniques stamps and color products from well known manufacturers such as Ranger, Prima Marketing and La Blanche.

Lost in the Paperworld
Warsztat kolażowo-mixmediowy ( z użyciem papierów i skrawków gazetowych, kolorowych mediów, stempli, masek... i nie tylko!)

Każda z nas ma słabość do papieru: mogą to być piękne, wzorzyste papierki do scrapbookingu,mogą to być neutralne tła, mogą być to wspaniałe stare gazety i foldery upolowane na targu staroci... albo też przeglądane przez nas codziennie gazety. Papier inspiruje. Jest idealnym, wielozadaniowym tworzywem – jest cierpliwy i poddaje się łatwo wszelkiej obróbce, ponadto posiada treści, które stają się integralna częścią naszej twórczej kreacji. Kolaż jest tą formą wyrazu, która bez papieru w zasadzie traci swoją rację bytu – jest hołdem składanym papierowi i treściom przez niego przenoszonym, W kolażu papiery zaczynają żyć swoim drugim, często nawet bardziej wartościowym „życiem”.
Ilu twórców – tyle pomysłów na kolażowanie. Ja chciałabym namówić Was do łączenia i mieszania technik: w kolażach doskonale sprawdzą się i farby, i maski, i stemple, i tusze... Jest tam miejsce dla techniki z pogranicza decoupage i scrapbookingu, jest miejsce na wszelkiego rodzaju papierów, ścinków, fotografii.
Podczas warsztatu każdy z uczestników stworzy swój własny, unikalny kolaż mixmediowy, w którym spróbujemy nie tylko warstwowego naklejania, ale też podmalowywania i cieniowania z użyciem kolorowych tuszy, sprayów i gessa. Wspólnie wkomponujemy między papiery postacie wycięte z fotografii lub zdjęć gazetowych sprawiając, że staną się integralną częścią kompozycji. Będziemy doskonale się bawić znaczeniami, obrazami i technikami – bo zabawa przecież jest najważniejsza w tworzeniu!
Uczestnicy warsztatów będą mieli możliwość pracy z materiałami, których sama używam na co dzień – znalezionych na starociach, wyprodukowanych przez naszych rodzimych producentów a także papierami i mediami najbardziej znanych firm zachodnich.
Wykonane projekty są przez uczestników warsztatu zabierane do domu.

Lost in the Paperworld

Mixed-media collage on canvas class (with scrapbooking and vintage scraps, gesso, sprays, stamps, masks... and more! )

We all use paper of different kinds – scrapbooking papers, old books or journals, vintage newspapers... they can be plain or patterned, with text or photos, but there's always a magic in every page. Paper is truly inspiring and things we can use it for are far beyond traditional scrapbooking layouts! Mixing different types of paper together on one project, adding photos, color medias and creating a mix-media collage is the best way to fall in love with paper and paint – and this affection is deep and lasting for a life-time! For me it is amazing how the small scraps, random pieces and photos start its „new life” in an art project. Every collage is a small, separate fairy-tale, with its own parts, dramas and us – actors – lost in the middle of those Paperworlds. How cool is this?
During this mix-media class I'd like to convince you that making collages its fun, easy... and liberating. There are no strict rules, no boundaries, just freedom of creating: all the meanings and the ideas are taken straight from the heart. Collages are also great for experimenting with new techniques, realizing even the crazy plans,mixing scrapbooking and non-traditional ideas.
I'll show you my favorite techniques like masking, stamping and convince you to use medias which are not typical for scrapbooking like gesso, watercolors or multipurpose glues. I'll show you the different possibilities of using inks and Glimmer Mists – not only for spraying but also traditional painting and creating shades. You'll create, step by step your own, unique collage which will reflect your taste and personality. During the class we will work both with products from top scrapbooking and mixed-media brands and flea market findings.
I'll show you different projects, share my experience, give tips about collage techniques I use in my projects and try to change a bit conventional “scrapbooking” thinking – you will be surprised what you can do with medias and tools you probably already have in your scrapbook kit!

Everyday Treasures

- Mixed-media shadowbox class with lots of techniques including gel mediums, inks, paint and more! Great fun with found objects and pure creativity.

We are surrounded by inspiring objects: at work or at home, in the city and in the countryside – there are things which are usually not visible for us…they are too common, too plain to be noticed. But try to look around, open your eyes wider – I’m sure you’ll find real treasures all around you, and all of them have their own stories which want to be told! Take a second look in the drawer, check your attic, search through the wardrobe…or visit the flea market – the possibilities are endless and your creativity will amaze you – just give the chance to yourself and the little everyday treasures from your neighborhood.

There are no boundaries in creating mixed media projects: you may give as much or as little elements as you want, you may use medias, paint and inks…and whatever comes to your mind too! Don’t be afraid to mix and blend and let your imagination free – it is pure fun!

During this workshop I’ll try to convince you that beauty can be found everywhere – and it is waiting to be discovered. I’ll guide you to create your own mixed-media shadowbox, based on my favorite layering techniques and choice of embellishments, colored with a wide range of color products. I’ll demonstrate possibilities of mixing different medias like gel mediums, paint, ink, scrapbooking supplies and found objects to get interesting layers and details on the unique grungy project.

– warsztat mixmediowo - kolażowy z wykorzystaniem elementów recyclingu oraz  mediów żelowych, gesso, kolorowych sprayów ... i nie tylko!

Chcesz stworzyć bogatą, interesującą pracę w stylu grunge i obawiasz się, że nie masz pasujących do takiej kompozycji papierów? To nie problem! Najważniejsza jest wyobraźnia: jesteśmy otoczeni rzeczami, które aż proszą się, aby zostać użyte do tworzenia! Rozejrzyj się dokładniej, a przekonasz się, że w swoim własnym domu możesz natrafić na prawdziwe „skarby”. Pamiętaj, że w tworzeniu nie ma żadnych ograniczeń poza tymi, które narzucamy sobie sami: możesz użyć tak mało lub tak wiele elementów jak tylko zechcesz, możesz użyć mediów, farb i tuszy – i wszystkiego innego, co wpadnie Ci pod rękę... Nie obawiaj się mieszać dodatków, mediów i stylów, pozwól dojść do głosu swojej twórczej wyobraźni – to doskonała zabawa!

Podczas tego warsztatu wspólnie stworzymy mixed-mediowy kolaż na blejtramie, poznając jednocześnie właściwości moich ulubionych mediów: pasty strukturalnej, produktów kolorowych firmy Tattered Angels oraz gessa. W twórczy sposób użyjemy zarówno dodatków typowych dla scrapbookingu jak i tych, które znajdują się – często niezauważane – wokół nas. Uczestnicy dowiedzą się jak zbudować bogatą, wielowarstwową pracę, i nadać jej zdecydowany, grunge’owy charakter. Porozmawiamy także nieco o elementach kompozycji i doborze kolorystyki. We are sorrounded by inspiring objects, which we can use for creating art of different kinds. Try to look around – and you’ll find real treasoures in your own house! Remember there are no boundaries: you may give as much or as little elements as you want, you may use medias, paint and inks…and whatever comes to your mind too! Don’t be afraid to mix and blend and let your imagination free – it is pure fun!

During this workshop I will guide you to create your own mixed-media canvas, including my favorite set of embellishments and textures, colored with my favorite Tattered Angels products. I’ll demonstrate possibilities of mixing different medias, gesso, scrapbooking supplies and found objects to get layers, details and unique, grungy look.

Creative Grunge
warsztat mixmediowo - kolażowy na blejtramie z wykorzystaniem papierów, tuszów, sprayów, pasty strukturalnej... i nie tylko!

Styl grunge - lub inaczej mówiąc: śmieciowy to tworzenie bez żadnych kreatywnych ograniczeń - nie ma zasad co do ilości dodatków, kolorów czy reguł kompozycji. Można  w nim znaleźć tusze i inne kolorowe media... i wszystko inne, co tylko znajdzie się w zasięgu ręki. W pracach tego typu idealnie sprawdzi się mieszanie tradycyjnych scrapbookingowych dodatków z drobiazgami, które znajdują się praktycznie wszędzie w naszym otoczeniu: w domu, w pracy, na ulicy... rozglądając się uważnie możemy natrafić na prawdziwe "skarby" - pozwól sobie na bycie kreatywnym!
Podczas tego warsztatu postaram się zachęcić uczestników do stworzenia własnego, niepowtarzalnego kolażu na blejtramie zahaczającego o stylistykę grunge'ową. Będziemy korzystać z papierów i mediów kolorowych najbardziej znanych producentów zachodnich i krajowych. Zaprezentuję ogromne możliwości różnorodnych mediów i narzędzi, podpowiem jak tworzyć ciekawe, warstwowe tła i jak komponować zgromadzone drobiazgi i dodatki.
Zajęcia nadają się zarówno dla zaawansowanych jak i początkujących rękodzielników - zapraszam do wspólnej twórczej zabawy!

Have you ever thought about having your own, intimate space which will be just for you – without pressure, without fear and competition? Maybe yo feel you want to have more fun, to try new things and play with techniques... or you need a place for your personal notes, sketches, memos? Or maybe you are an idea collector? All this and more you can put in your Art Journal! How cool is this?

Journals are best friends of creative people: they love experiments and new techniques, they are good listeners and always have time for you. You can take them wherever you go. Journals are never in bad mood – and they never say that your project is not good enough or not creative. Working in journal is fun, easy... and liberating. There are no strict rules, no boundaries, just freedom. All the meanings and the ideas are taken straight from the heart: you can realize all the crazy plans simply because it is YOUR Journal and you create just for yourself.

During this journal class I'll show you how to make a useful, handy Art Journal from pieces of cardboard and different paper scraps: packages, covers, envelopes, brown paper – the possibilities are endless! Together we'll make an unique, mixed media cover and the first inspirational page. I'll share with you some of my journal projects and a bunch of my favorite techniques like stamping, creating texture and dimension using lace, paper scraps and found objects including such uncommon elements as teabags. I'll try to convince you to use different medias like gesso, watercolors or multipurpose glues and I'll show you the different possibilities of using Glimmer Mists – not only for spraying but also traditional painting and creating shades and I 'll guide you to such crazy technique as tea painting.

To sum up - you'll start your own, art journal which will reflect your taste and personality and you'll get a big dose of inspiration: I'll do my best to share my experience, give tips and I'll try to convince you to leave traditional, conventional thinking – you will be surprised what you can do with medias and tools which you probably already have in your kit or at home!

Podczas tego mini-warsztatu zamierzam przekonać Was o tym, że stworzenie pracy zahaczającej o styl grunge wcale nie musi być trudne. Pokażę proste techniki, takie jak sprayowanie i maskowanie, dzięki którym można otrzymać inspirujące efekty oraz scharakteryzuję i przedstawię wybrane materiały i media. Podczas zajęć wykonamy razem ciekawy, nieskomplikowany scrap - krok po kroku.
Uczestnicy warsztatów będą mieli możliwość pracy z materiałami, których sama używam na co dzień – wyrobami naszych rodzimych producentów (Scrapiniec, Dolina Tęczy) a także papierami i narzędziami znanych firm zagranicznych (i mediami takich firm jak Tattered Angels czy Ranger.

Wykonane projekty są przez uczestników warsztatu zabierane do domu.

 Vintage Charm

- Handmabe Notebook Class (with stamping, binding, glimmer sprays... and more!)

Vintage is a style, which charms with muted, delicate colours, elegant look and subtle, feminine embellishments. It brings to our mind a grandma’s chest, found on the attic, full of old treasures: photos, postcards, letters from the loved ones… old but still elegant hat or a pair of  gloves, left in one of the drawers. Vintage style is simply magical. Let it charm you… let it take you in the real journey in time.

During this class I will demonstrate the way to create real handmade notebooks. Step by step you’ll make vintage cover and the  notebook’s pages and also use Bind –it-All machine to finish the project. I’ll give you some tips about adding dimension and colour on the cover, give advice about acrylic stamping and show possibilies of Tattered Angels products and other popular media.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers – we’ll have great time travelling in time and adding a bit of vintage elements to our paper projects.
