Chakra Tags - Completed

Hi Everyone!
Today Gayle is presenting her Chakra tags project that she has just completed. They look absolutely amazing together, each of them is so personal and mindful, filled with good thoughts and emotions. Put together, they're even more magical... Enjoy!

Hello lovely Finnabair friends. This month, (June, half the year has whizzed by so quickly!)
I have the complete set of 8 Chakra Tags to show you. The seventh and last Chakra and the cover tag. The making of tags 1, 2 and 3 can be found HERE . Tags 4, 5, and 6 are HERE.
The seventh Chakra is The Crown and it’s colour is violet.
It’s located at the top of your head and is concerned with information, understanding and acceptance.
This tag was made by following Finnabair’s fantastic online Art Transformations Class.
I could not think of anyone who embraces the concepts of “information, understanding and acceptance” more than Anna does. If you have ever done one her classes then you know what I’m talking about.
The techniques I used to make this tag are Anna’s and you can do this fantastic class too. The class is like having her all to yourself in your home as she shares, instructs and chats while she calmly takes you on a beautiful creative journey. All the information you need to do Anna’s class is HERE.
There were 8 chipboard tags in my set, but there are only 7 Chakras, so the eighth tag is a cover tag.
I have made a Mandala using a piece of chipboard and painting it in the 7 Chakra colours and adding the beautiful metal Lotus Flowers from Finnabair’s new Mechanicals range.
The Lotus Flower along with the seven Chakras are all a part of yoga and spirituality (Sadhguru).
Black tag with a coat of Art Extravagance Antique Silver Crackle Texture Paste.
Next, Art Basics 3D Matte Gel used through a stencil.
Colour added with  the new Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints in Crocus Fields and Sparks Iris Potion.
The embelishments are Mechanicals Lotus Flowers, Stars and Melange Art Pebbles.

What a joyful indulgence it has been for me to make these tags -
- to create with beautiful Finnabair products and techniques and explore more deeply the ideas behind Hindu Chakras, Yoga, Mindfulness and Spirituality.

Namaste.
Gayle xx

Imagine Online Class - Today is the Day!

Hi my dear ones, yes, TODAY is the day!
I'm still not able to believe it is really happening, but yes - the message boards are filling with faces, classes videos are up and running, the friendly chatting has already started! Now I can't wait to see the first results of the class! Amazing - "Imagine" Online Class is live!
When I was asked by my students and followers about teaching online I was always worried about 2 factors: time and my post-production skills. I have no problem with creating a class, planning it and breaking into steps. I can even plan the kit and logistics quite well, but working on the videos, images, files... this is not my strongest side tone honest! When 2 wonderful people - who happen to be my friends - proposed they would like to start this creative cooperation with me and Art Transformations project was born I felt this huge pressure was taken off me! Now I was able to work in a great, friendly atmosphere with people I love, doing things I love... and the results -  let me tell you - are fabulous!
I was planning for today to show you the project we are making during "Imagine" Online Class closer - and then I decided to add more to this mini-gallery. I was looking for the older samples from this class from the time I was teaching it live - and I found a pretty nice selection!

Here is the original project which I created during filming of the class. I hope you like it!
Below you can see projects I was creating in the classrooms with students - just a bit extra inspiration for you - enjoy! Some of them are very vintage ;)

There is one more treat for you!
Today we are starting our second edition of Designers' Faves Challenge in our Finnabair and Friends Open Studio Facebook Group!

This time it is John who is hosting the event for you and he has chosen Handmade Jewelry as the theme. You can read more about this challenge along with photos for inspiration here!
This challenge is inspired by this post - and if you'd like to join the fun here are 2 simple rules:
- Jewelry pieces should be NEW, unique pieces that you have recently created.
- Finished jewelry pieces must be wearable.
As you may have noticed, this challenge is pretty open ended to your interpretation of what you define as beautiful jewelry! You don’t have to use Finnabair’s products to be elligible for the prize although we always love to see how you use Finnabair products in new, innovative ways. Creative vision is what matters the most! =)

Here is a peek at the prize... ;)
To submit your artwork, use this link.
which will take you to the folder in the photo album in the group page to add ONE photo of your artwork, along with a brief description of your finished jewelry piece.
Designers' Faves with John are open until 15th March! Join the fun!

Sending hugs:)

Art Transformations Café

My Dear Friends...
I can't thank you enough for such a beautiful response to the Art Transformations project - my brand new venture in collaboration with Everything Art. In case you missed the news, I wrote about it {here}
I got so many amazing comments, messages, words of encouragement and excitement - once again you simply left me speechless, humbled and deeply moved...
Thank you so much for this heartwarming support, I hope our first online class - "Imagine" is going to meet your expectations and to be honest - I just can't wait to see the results and your beautiful art!
I'm sure we will all see many wonderful, creative projects - but what is most important to me, I believe for some of you this class might actaully be the spark that will start your own Art Transformation.
Whatever that means to you, wherever this road may take you, I'll be your biggest supporter and fan! Oh, I can't wait to see the magic begin already!!!

In the meantime, (and I'm waiting really impatiently! ;) ) together with Kasia and Jamie from Everything Art, we've prepared this informal, relaxed interview - or rather a friendly chat in a café in which I'm sharing quite a lot of my thoughts, ideas, memories and reflections.

If you'd like to know why transformations and creativity are so important to me, how long I've been creating art or... why a moth is my symbol and brand logo - this video is something you have to see! :)
Sit back, grab a cup and enjoy!!!

I hope you find my café chat interesting! :) I'd love to hear what you think about it but most of all -
- I'd love to see you soon in my first online class!
You can read all about the whole Art Transformations series and buy the 'Imagine' class on Everything Art website and find all the necessary info on this page of my blog.

"Imagine" class is £24.99 which will be about $31 US, $40 AUD/CAD, €29 Euro.
You can buy it today, or long after the official launch... just click the link and register!

Have I mentioned how impatiently I'm waiting? ;)
Will I see you there?
Lots of hugs,
