The heart is a very vulnerable organ and for most of humanity a fountain of positive emotions, especially of love. It is working like untiring machinery, so the association with cogs is inevitable.

The moulds are of high quality. They play well with so many types of media: paper clay, air dry clay, polymer clay, earthen clay, hot glue, and even chocolate (food safe rated)! Practically any moulding medium. We will be showing the possibilities during the next 10 days.

All moulds sheet size: 5'' x 8'' (12.5 cm. to 20.5 cm.) and they come in separate packages, as shown below:

I really really wanted to play around with this particular new mould (which is called Love Machine by the way), so I created this little canvas with a very simple - almost minimalistic composition!

I used a piece of lace I chopped off an old curtain to create this cool background texture and painted it and my mould castings with Black gesso.

I then dry brushed some white over the lace, just to brighten it up, and for the moulds - I went with a simple combination of Aged Brass and Vintage gold Metallique waxes + a good measure of Blue and Green Patina Matte waxes to make them look, well - patinated.

And Voila! A very simple, minimalistic canvas ready!

The Love Machine arrived exactly when these fantastic hearts are very trendy. For me, it was the perfect time because I had in mind this idea of blue flowers on the anatomical heart and I could finally create it. The big Cogs and Gear are fabulous but one big Love of mine is the special medallion I'm already using everywhere.
