Te ikeowe, w szerokich ramach, a przy tym niedrogie, to doskonały materiał rękodzielniczy - o czym wie wiele twórczych dziewczyn. Ja postanowiłam ozdobić jedno "po mojemu" czyli grandżowo, kolorowo, mechato - w odcieniach różu, złota i fioletu.
Sam proces był prosty - po zabarwieniu ramki bejcą nałożyłam pastę strukturalną i wszelkie dodatki, a następnie zabarwiłam wybrane fragmenty przy użyciu sprayów Glimmer Mist. To naprawdę brudna robota - ale i świetna zabawa w jednym!
Glass - our inspiration in Tattered Angels Design Team in December - and if we say glass, we have to say mirrors too :) The ones from IKEA are perfect for different ways of altering: I made this one "my way" - grungy, colourful and full of texture with extra glass drops added - all in the shades of pink, purple and gold. The steps were easy - first I added the pigment on the wooden frame ad when it was dry, i put some styctural paste and all the embellishments. The last step was spraying the mirror with Glimmer Mists and drying it - pure fun and dirty fingers are the part of the process!
Materiały: lusterko (IKEA), pasta strukturalna, orzechowa bejca spirytusowa, Glimmer Mists od Tattered Angels (Pashmina, Vintage Pink, Black Gold, Cranberry), koronka, szklane oczka, guziki, kwiaty, śmieci wszelakie z moich prywatnych zbiorów, litery tekturowe, Glossy Accents, taśmy ozdobne.
Supplies: IKEA mirror, structural paste, brown pigment, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists: (Pashmina, Vintage Pink, Black Gold, Cranberry), lace, buttons, chipboard letters, glass gems and drops, flowers, tapes and found objects from my collection.

ReplyDeleteStructureal paste is something like texture paste or gel medium I guess - they have differences - some of them are glossy, some are not. I buy it in the big local shops for artists (with paints, brushes etc.) and they've got different brands.
