Hidden in their private world - altered Prima metal frame

How can you show the love and appreciation better than creating something for these special people with your own hands? Personally - I love handmade gifts - and I love giving handmade gifts to my family and friends!

This altered frame was made to honor and show the love I have for my parents, Hanna and Krzysiek.
I've chosen one o my favorite photos of them: young couple celebrating time together during one of the family gatherings. I love their happy faces, I adore the hairstyles and matching shirts :) It was a begging of their journey through life and I wanted to show them hidden in their little private world, focused just on the conversation with each other. I honestly have to say - I'm happy with the final result!

A frame with decorated photo of your family can be a great gift for the coming celebrations of Mother's Day and Father's Day... if you'd like to see more of the ideas (breathtaking projects by Prima DT, I promise!) with my collections included you will find them in this post on Prima Blog!

Of course I had to put my personal touch on it! I used loads of found objects to fill the beautiful vintage frame designed by Ingvild: wooden sticks found on the beach, stones, clock and mechanical parts from my "rubbish boxes" and of course my Prima Mechanicals combined with Ingvild's Junkyard Findings.

Colors I've chosen are matching the beautiful color of the frame I used a bit of gesso and sprayed the inside of the frame with Color Bloom Sprays in shades of green, teal, blue, gold and gray.

Here is the product list for you - all the supplies are available in our Mixed Media Place Store:)

And now the last thing to do is to wrap it and send it...
Hugs to you all - have a great creative weekend!
