Nighttime Dragonflies by Lanette Erickson

Hello all, you Amazing Creative people!

Today I’m excited to share a simple altered MDF keyhole project that came together in a snap—thanks to Finnabair’s gorgeous Decoupage Fiber Paper. If you haven’t tried this product yet, I highly recommend it! It’s strong, durable, and so easy to work with. The tear-resistant surface, rich colors, and stunning patterns make it perfect for mixed media projects of all kinds.

For this piece, I started with a sheet from the Nighttime Dreaming Decoupage Fiber Paper to create a magical, celestial background. From there, I built up the details by adding a mix of resin elements and a generous dose of sparkle using Finnabair’s Effect Pastes and Jewel Pastes—because a little shimmer always makes everything better!

If you’d like to see how this project came together from start to finish, be sure to check out my full process video over on the Finnabair YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I’ve inspired you, even in a small way, to spend some creative time in your art space.

Until next time,

Hugs & have FUN creating!

Lanette
