Hello Creative Friends!
Today I’m excited to share an Altered Fabric Journal created with Finnabair’s gorgeous new release — and let me tell you, this collection is an absolute must-have!
I started by pouring a variety of resin elements from the brand-new moulds, then chose the beautiful Chestnut Street Fiber Paper as my base, adhering it to the journal cover with Soft Matte Gel. To add extra dimension and interest, I brought in some subtle texture using the New Old Pages Stencil Set along with a touch of Golden Nugget Paste.
With the base complete, it was time to build my focal cluster. I couldn’t resist using the stunning gear and beetle elements from the Steampunk Beetles Mould — they just might be my new favorites from this release!
Finally, I pulled everything together with layers of color, combining Rust Paste, Liquid Acrylics, Wax, and of course, a touch of glitter for that perfect finishing sparkle.
I absolutely love how this project turned out, and I hope it inspires you to dive into this beautiful new release and create something magical of your own.
