Sometimes mistakes happen even when we plan the project down to the smallest detail. While creating this project, I made not one, not two, not even three, four or five mistakes, but seven. Seven mistakes were needed to complete this project. Did I want to throw it in the trash? Yes. Did I want to throw it out the window? Also yes. Did I want to give up and start a completely new project? Yes, but I don't give up that easily.
The beautiful thing about mixed media is that you can always add another layer of paint, wax or liquid. Mistakes happen. Mistakes teach us that, thanks to errors we develop as artists. Let's not be afraid of them and let's never give up.
