Hello creative friends! Have you ever started a project, felt it just wasn't working and put it aside to do something else? I found this half-finished piece when I was clearing up the other day and decided to give it a new lease of life!
I added some new mould and mechanicals elements to create more areas of interest on the background and give it more of a gothic mood. When I was happy with the new composition, I gave everything a coat of black gesso.
I used various colours of Finnabair waxes to colour and highlight different areas of the project- concentrating most of the colour on the centre elements. A little sprinkling of microbeads and my neglected piece has a whole new look!
