Classes descriptions:

Saturday:

Pastel Dreams - canvas - soft in colours bit with vintage touches!

(20x30 cm canvas or similar)

If you love pretty papers, embellishments and flowers but would like to include mixed-media techniques in your project as well, this is the right time and place!

This canvas is definitely more on the "lighter and softer" side but still includes many exciting details, techniques and mixed-media knowledge. In fact, being just in the middle of the styles "Pastel Dreams" is a perfect challenge for those who usually use much more art mediums and those who are in love with scrapbooking techniques.

During this class, you will see a range of ideas and techniques which you can quickly transfer to your other projects – scrapbook pages, mini-books, albums, canvases, frames and panels. We will build the whole composition step-by-step and try art mediums such as Art Basics Gesso, Gels, Art alchemy Liquid Acrylic and Metallique Paints, and Effect Pastes. In addition, you will try painting techniques and adding accents and learn about your project's balance, dimension, colour and composition!

This class is fun, light in colours and suitable for beginners and advanced students!

Class time: 3,5 - 4 h

Midnight Stories – dark, dimensional large collage with a touch of mystery

(20x60 cm canvas or similar)

Do you like darker colour palettes? Do you believe black gesso is your best friend? Or maybe you are tempted to try making a project in a darker, more dramatic colour palette, but you are unsure where to start?

In these cases, “Midnight Angel” is a perfect class for you!

There is everything you need to know about creating deep, mysterious projects: composition and bold design, good product selection and a touch of magic! Time to dive in!

During this class, you will see the whole process of building the dimensional collage step-by-step, from the bottom to the top. You will be trying products from the Art Alchemy range, including popular Metallique Acrylic Paints and Waxes, Matte Waxes and more.

In addition, there will be a chance to make friends with a selection of Art Basics Gels, Heavy Black Gesso and an inspiring selection of embellishments and textures from the Art Ingredients collection. Together we will work on lights and shadows, special effects and a bit of a wow factor – this class is a perfect choice if you want to leave your comfort zone of lighter projects and more delicate colours!

As always, the techniques presented in the class can be easily used on many other projects such as home decor and altered objects or journal pages. All the elements, paints and mediums are provided and believe it or not, this project is suitable both for advanced and beginning

students.

Class time: 4,5-5h

Sunday:

Garden Treasures – dimensional, opulent, shiny yet vintage collage on the wooden panel

(20x30 cm panel or similar)

Let's dive into the dreamy, dimensional layers of tissue papers, metallic flakes, various embellishments and coats of paints, waxes and art mediums!

Let your creativity flow and create a unique, artistic project based on beautiful, rich textures and inspiring colours - all that to get one of a kind wooden panel - perfect for decorating your space or for giving as a gift to your loved ones!

Step by step, we will work on all the layers and textures to build our collage: starting with untreated wood, we will go to tissue papers and metallic flake effect and finally to opulent, dimensional composition. Then, using an exciting range of embellishments in combination with popular Finnabair art mediums, we will work on the balance of the shiny and matte elements and create a striking, dimensional look.

This class is perfect for trying products from my Art Basics and Art Alchemy lines, including gesso, gels, Liquid Acrylics and Matte and Metallique Waxes. All that means you are getting a lot of creative freedom combined with helpful tips and inspirational techniques which you can apply to many future projects!

All the elements, paints and mediums are provided – this project is suitable both for advanced and beginning students.

Rusty Romance – one-of-a kind clash of romantic, shabby elements and touches of crumbly rust... all that on a popular Teapot frame!

Do you think soft colours and a shabby look can go together with rust and heavy textures? In my world - by all means  - yes! "Rusty Romance" is a perfect marriage of the romantic and grungy look and an ideal class to try exciting techniques and art mediums.

During the class, we will be working on the inside and outside of the metal teapot frame. We will focus on altering techniques which will make your project beautiful and unique - adding details, textures and colours using a popular range of art mediums from a mixed-media collection by

Finnabair. You will have a chance to try such products as soft and heavy gels, and texture pastes in composition with Art Ingredients and a range of Art Alchemy Impasto and Liquid Acrylic paints.

Together we will build our projects step-by-step, and you will see that the presented techniques are very versatile and can be easily used on many other projects, such as collages or journal pages. I'll share my experience with you and try to give you plenty of information about the tools and products used.

"Rusty Romance" is exciting to dive into the world of 3D mixed-media and altering, working with pastes and paints and learning about 3D effects, highlights and shadows. This class is suitable for both advanced and beginning students.
