Hello!
This month I am sharing a project that was heavily inspired by one of my crafty friends! Again!
There are lots of things that can inspire us, and for me, one of the most special ones is being inspired by a fellow artist.
The wonderful artist in question here is Olga Heldwein (I believe most of you will already be familiar with her work!). Having spent a lot of time lately creating alongside each other, and watching her create one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever seen, I couldn’t help myself! The determination, patience and dedication to the craft and pieces she creates are incredibly contagious.
I will never stop admiring the drive to add complex details and a thousand layers, take the time and do whatever it takes to make her idea come to life - so this project is my little attempt at trying to harvest that same determination and commitment to making my vision come to life, even if it takes 7 hours (yes, it really did take that long) and a million breaks in between because I am probably one of the most impatient people in the world!
I hope you will enjoy watching this little breakdown of the steps I had to take to get to this final result!
Lots of love,
Iveta x
