Hello friends,
It's July and we are here today with load of inspiration from our Guest Designer and our talented Team Members.
The moodboard and all details of our Art Recipe are available below.
____________________________________________________________________________
Our new visual moodboards consists of:
- 4 products to choose from - they are shown on the right
- colour palette - right next to the products and each colour has their own circle
- and visual inspiration in a form of several beautiful images.
It is easy to remember - things in circles are the core of the challenge (colours and products) and things in squares/rectangles are only a visual inspiration to help you get creative juices flowing.
Just to make sure, you are all well informed, we would like to let you know, that challenges will be going live each second Sunday of the month. So please do not be surprised, that Inlinkz is closed the day before. Please keep that in mind planning your entering the challenge :) because we love your projects so much and we do not want to lose any of them!

This month Guest Designer is eMKa
Hi, my name is Magda, on social media you may know me as eMKa. I am very happy to be the Guest Designer for the July Art Recipe challenge. This month's colors are totally not my thing, but I will try to take on the challenge. For this color palette, I decided to remake a plastic frame.
I used lots of Finnabair mold castings, some paper flowers and cardstock to decorate it. I covered the frame and the moldings with white gesso, then added colors with Liquid, Metallique paints, Opal Magic paints, waxes, Impasto paints and a beautiful green Artisan powder. I mixed it with white gesso to get a gorgeous soft green color. I added a touch of sparkle in some areas using Phoenix Art Extravagance Effect Paste. Finally, I added a few splashes of white gesso mixed with water.

Inspiration from our team:
Hi,
Art Recipe delighted me with a delicate pink color that I decided to use on my set of tags. To decorate the base made of HDF material, I used rice paper from Prima, which I glued on the surface previously covered with white gesso. I used a soft gloss gel for gluing. Then, after drying, I applied a thin layer of clear gesso to protect my paper.
Later I glued a beautiful lace and on it beautiful elements from Finnabair moulds. I have combined sets of large cogs with moons and stars here. In the open spaces, I put on art stones in two sizes combined with a gel. Plus a few more cabochons.
I started painting this composition with acrylic paint from the Impasto series. A beautiful pink that has been brightened with white gesso. I also added a bit of white metallic wax there, which emphasized some details. I added black liquid acrylic paint between some of the extras to create a contrast. Finally, I splashed everything with a white gesso combined with water.
Hugs,
Kasia Salmanowicz

Hello everyone!
July is here and we are in pastel mood. Our moodboard as always inspiring and gorgeous gave life to my tags. One slim and one wider, I used products cardstock as a base for them. We never should waste anything as long as I`m concerned. So I used them instead of making them from cardboard.
I`ve been wanting to use Finn`s Resist canvas for so long, but it was never the right project.
I love the contrast they bring on a project and in the same time they blend in perfect unison. To get that contrast I used first Liquid Acrylics on them and then came the Impastos. After that, as you may already know there was a good play with some waxes.
If you want to give interest and create different project, my advice is to have at least one of these resist canvases, because just look at the swirls at the bottom of the tags, aren`t they just perfect?

Hi gorgeous friends!
Be inspired by our soft and tender moodboard I’ve created a wooden decor using all the four Art Recipe ingredients –Waxes, Icing Paste, Impasto and Stencil.
Our banner reminds me about seaside sunrises when you can see somewhere far out at sea a beautiful sailboat escorting by dolphins.
I’ve painted the wooden dolphin with Impasto paints and added a pattern through Read My Letter stencil using Icing paste.
I’ve also painted all the clay elements and chipboard with Impastos and then underlined with waxes.
As a final touch I’ve added for sparkling effect I’ve added Pixie paste and sprinkled over with glass glitter and glitter.
