Hello my darlings!
It’s me Iveta here again on Finnabair Blog today, bringing some inspiration with this Altered box!
Today’s box was HEAVILY inspired by all of the new products from the new release as there are so many sparkly and shiny new things!
I decided to do some decoupage with Romantica paper on the lid of my box to go under the frame and the skull to add a little bit of “traditional” gothic feel.
However I did not want to keep it looking all dark, rather more treasure looking! And of course the Metallic leaf in “Steampunk” (which is a gorgeous mix of gold, silver and copper leaf) and Golden Dragon effect pastes were a great help with that!
I also decided to add a little bit of crackle over the top of the metallic leaf as of course I can’t pass on an opportunity to use a bit of crackle, it is most definitely one of my favourite effect pastes!
And in the end we got this somewhat almost Indiana Jones inspired box, something that you would find buried in a treasure chest!
