From this month on we have totally new visual moodboards, that consist of:
- 4 products to choose from - they are shown on the right
- colour palette - right next to the products and each colour has their own circle
- and visual inspiration in a form of several beautiful images.
It is easy to remember - things in circles are the core of the challenge (colours and products) and things in squares/rectangles are only a visual inspiration to help you get creative juices flowing.
We do hope you will love our new moodboards :) The author of all our moodboards is Tusia Lech :) (same for Mixed Media Place and Art Daily Cafe). If you like Mixed Media Place and Art Daily moodboards, chances are you will fall in love also with new Art Recipe moodboards :)

Hello all,
I was inspired by the quote from George H.W. Bush - “Tell me your Dreams and I will write you a Fantasy....” and I decided to alter a book and give it a look of Dreamland.
I have used all the products from this month's challenge list.
Thank you for the opportunity and I hope you like my project. :)

Inspiration from our team
Hello crafty friends!
The amazing new Art Recipe inspired me to create this flat canvas, using all must ingredients and more of fabulous Finnabair's products.
When I create a canvas with a picture, naturally the photo guide me with the use of elements and colors.
The picture I used have an intense image therefore the Pink, Olive and Turquoise suits it very well.
I love building colors with layers of different shades especially with Art Alchemy Metallique paints.
Hello,
Today's inspiration for you is a certain return to the sources - there is paper, there are flowers and lots of layers. I built the whole composition on a dark background, but to make it not too uniform, I used two impasto paint colors - black and brown. I applied them with a sponge, tapping once and again with the color. My background is quite uneven, I applied the plaster paste inaccurately to it, thanks to which the waxes perfectly highlighted all these irregularities.
I did not want the whole to be too orderly, so on the very top of the composition I added a lot of art stones, beads and micro beads, as well as glass glitter. You can easily stick them with 3d gel.
I hope that our projects will inspire you to create and take part in our challenge.
Hello, friends!
Today I want to show you a new layout. The inspiration board of this month inspired me to create it.
My background is created from scratch. In the beginning I covered the cardboard with White Gesso. Then I glued the Tissue Paper to the Soft Gloss Gel and tore it in some places with sandpaper. I wanted to achieve a vintage effect. Then I applied the White Crackle Paste through the stencil. Once again, everything dried well and completely covered the background with Impasto paints. When it dried, I removed a little paint from the background. Thus, bared Tissue Paper and paste. But I still lacked a shabby look. I sprayed the background with brown sprays with green mother of pearl and applied Opal Magic paint to the still wet surface.
As a frame, I used the unnecessary part from the chipboard dial. I covered it with pink Metallique paints and Metallique Waxes. Next, I added stamps and my vintage background was ready.
I cut out paper elements from different collections of the AB Studio. I covered clay figures with Green Metallique paints and aged with Matte Waxes. I erased the excess wax with a dry rag.
From various decorative elements I made up a multilayered composition. At the very end, I added Art Pebbles, sequins, Mica Flakes and Glass Glitter. I glued these accents to the Soft Gloss Gel.
I hope you enjoy my layout. I will be glad to see your wonderful work this month. Good luck
