Canvas “Golden story” with imitation of beautiful cracks by Olya Kravets

Hello creative friends! Today I want to show you my canvas with an interesting and simple technique of imitating wooden and old boards with cracks. Here I also used the famous illustration from the outstanding artist Gustav Klimt and I tried to transfer the mood on my canvas.

I cut cardboard and took texture pastes to create an imitation of wood. Everything is simple here you just need a tool and paste. I apply light yellow and orange paint when the paste is dry. Then I rub this layer with a candle. And then I paint everything dark purple. I remove some paint with a silicone brush. Now it looks so beautiful!

I cover the chipboard with great matte waxes with a patina color. I love them and just apply them with my fingers. With a chipboard and metal elements, I create a composition around the image. Then a bit of paint to make it shine and all my love to this process!

I invite you to watch my video tutorial to see the whole process of creating my project. Enjoy!

I hope you are inspired by my video! Be free in your creativity and love what you do! Create with your soul, tell your stories and your feelings, share with us and love what you are doing!

With love, Olya.
