When I start to work with the palette, I dig for a long time in a box of paints and finally I put them on my table. Then I left it for a few days and looked at it from time to time... I got inspired. Then I need edto choose what I will create. Canvas? Postcard? This time I made mini cards or maxi ATCs. Houses. As a base, I covered my billets with black gesso. Then I played a lot with different paints: metallique, impasto and sparks. In the end, I decorated everything with flowers, stampings and lace.
Inspiration from our Design Team:
I altered a paint brush. I love doing this type of project because the possibilities are endless. I had so much fun playing with the colors. I Started by adding white gesso to the whole paint brush. I added some texture with some paper texture paste and the tapestry stencil. I used some mica powder and some Impasto paint for color. I finished the brush with a sentiment sticker.
Hi creative friends! A new art recipe inspired me to create a series of cards. Stamps from Finnabair perfectly created the main elements. I covered the background of cards with Black Gesso and added textures with Crackle Paste and Art Stones. When everything was dry I added color with Mica Powder and finished with a gentle Wax. I decorated it with my favorite flowers from Prima and decor elements, added a bit of chipboard and mechanical elements.
I hope you are inspired by a bright palette and favorite materials and we look forward to your projects!
For the challenge this month I have made for you a colorful and dynamic composition.
I wanted to show you how beautiful the background can be made with liquid acrylic paints, how beautiful and intense the colors are. By adding water immediately after applying the paint, we get a great watercolor effect, the colors intertwine. Remember, however, to act quickly, because when the paints dry, they become permanent.
My composition is slightly messy, with lots of layers and details. To add to the whole interesting texture, I mixed glitter, beads and microbeads with soft gloss gel. I put the mixture here and there. After drying, the gel becomes transparent and we see only beautifully shimmering beads.
The colors in this challenge are one of my favorites, I hope they will encourage you to have fun with us.
