I started out as a paper crafter and have really found my passion as well as in mixed media art.I am always looking for something new to expand my creative curiosity. Mixed media is the perfect genre for me as it is always changing, always new and different. I tend to gravitate to dimensional art, texture and detail in my work. ReplyDeleteI have lots of creative dreams for the coming year! One would be to re-start my blog. My blog was about the process of reorganizing my art studio. That all got put on hold when I had to move awhile back and I had to pack up my supplies. And I still haven't unpacked or organized the studio. The second creative dream would to start teaching classes again. I really miss the process of creating and designing classes, and then interacting with the students; but I also really, really need the money right now to cover medical bills that have piled up. Unfortunately, I still don't feel good, so it is hard to get motivated to get started. Any advice?

Do..I was so close to just giving up on myself and everything I loved but I decided this would be the year that I would start saying “yes I can” and that I would take back my life..and start doing everything I possibly can to fight and for me, it starts with taking back my creativity that I’ve been neglecting to nurture within myself. This is the year that I’m going to take back my life from these illnesses... thru art!

One of my creative dreams for this year was to attend at least one Mixed Media workshop and it looks like I'll be fulfilling that one in April, with you! Super excited about that. ReplyDeleteOK - I'm going to try and be realistic - my creative dream is to do a youtube video showing the process of how I painted something or how I did a mixed media piece - yup - that is pretty much my dream for this year!!!!!

ReplyDeleteMy creative dream is to continue to experiment with techniques and products... I am new to art journaling and have a lot to learn and try. I am so loving all of these products... had some Finnabair Art Extravagance Patina Effect Pastes delivered yesterday! Cannot wait to open them and get started... have to work both jobs for the next 2 days so hoping I have some creative time on Saturday! Thank you for all your amazing products and ideas.
