Stars in My Eyes - collage on paper

Hi again my dear ones!
Do you know this feeling, when something new is coming? Sometimes it comes absolutely unexpectedly, when you are sure nothing exciting is going to happen, your head is empty and hands are just moving stuff from one place to another... and then... something changes - and everything comes together, things fall perfectly into places and new ideas jump into your head like crazy!
Yes, I do have moments like that - and I still don't know what is causing them - but I LOVE the feeling of this creative thrill, literally - it is like goosebumps all over my body!
Many times it happened to me - and you could find me gluing and painting without thinking, moving fast and furious, with stars in my eyes... do you know that feeling?

This collage project comes from that excitement, creative storm, which happens to me from time to time. Beautiful moments, which I hope will repeat, over and over again!

I was so inspired with new 7 Dots Studio "Homegrown" paper collection - don't you think it goes just perfectly with my Mechanicals - Barn Stars and Mini Stars? I've mixed this look with tons of Memory Hardware Pearls, Art Ingredients - Art Stones and Mini art Stones - and I love the effect.

I had the pleasure to work in my home studio, co the mix of the elements I used is reflecting what I could find on my table: some new shapes taken out of IOD Moulds, leftover pieces of lace and fabric tape, resin window, plastic gear, zipper... just name it!
My colour combo comes from sprays of different kinds, my Art Basics Heavy White Gesso, a bit of Pale Silver Mica and finally - a bit of Rust Paste. May I say I'm in love?
Something new is coming, I'm sure...

Here are the products I used - listed for you from our Mixed Media Place Store:

I hope you like it and I leave you inspired a bit.
Wishing you a lot of creative thrills
