Mixed-media o'Clock!

Hi again guys!
I'm back from crazy productive and creative weekend at Art from the Heart in UK, where I had an honour of teaching 3 full days of classes... Some of them were my "début" ones so it was both a challenge and lots of fun to teach them!
Today I'm sharing one of my favourite classes from the new release - "Heart of the Clock" - altered frame.

This rich in texture, elements and layers project stole my heart and I'm glad to see it is a popular one: I'm teaching it in France, during Crop des Anges in Lyon and in a bunch of places during my USA-Canada 2016 Tour. You can check the dates and links to the places I'm visiting here!
Don't wait too long with bookings though - some of the lists will be closing soon!

During this class we are working on inside and outside of the metal clock frame - using such art products as Art Extravagance  Texture Pastes and Art Basics Heavy Black Gesso. We are focusing on altering techniques which make your project beautiful and unique - adding details, textures and colours - I love the mix of my Mechanicals, Art Pebbles and Prima flowers on this frame - perfectly balanced! I almost forgot about beautiful flaming heart from "Relics and Artifacts" collection by Sandra Evertson - isn't it just amazing focal point?

Finally, the frame is finished using my beloved art babies: Art Alchemy Paints, Which adds amazing shine and depth to the altered clock.
What is the best I'm always building my project step-by-step with students and presented techniques are very versatile and be easily used on many other projects such as collage or journal pages. What can be better?

I hope you are a bit inspired and you enjoyed a peek at my new class.
See you again soon!
huge hugs
