The World Is Beautiful With You

Hi again Friends!
I couldn't wait to share with you this new work of mine. The story is that I felt so inspired by the layout I created for the Words & Paintery challenge a while ago that I felt compelled to create a 'sister piece' right away. :)

When you look closely, you'll notice that I used one photo for both of the layouts, just cut in half. :)

And just like the other work, this one is also based on beautiful Verano Azul papers. You have to agree that this 7 Dots Studio collection is simply adorable and very inspiring!

This work is quit rich in layers and White Gesso splatters so I decided to mount my paper on a chipboard. If you go for this kind of heavy look, creating on a canvas panel is also a good idea.

You can spy all sorts of embellishments here - I don't like to limit myself. ;) So there's tulle, paper flowers, doilies, string, wire, chipboards, even 3D foam squares, basically anything that was at hand on my desk. ;)
Of course, let's not forget about my beloved Mini Art Stones, Art Pebbles and some of my Mechanicals.

The splashes were made with watered down White Gesso, black India ink and my good old friend - tea infusion.

I think the final effect turned out to look quite emotional, don't you think? Anyway, that's what I was aiming at. ;)

Here are some of the products I used:

I hope I managed to make you feel inspired and want to express all kinds of feelings on paper.
Just look around at the left over bits & scraps on your desk, they might come in handy, who knows. :)

Sending warmest hugs
Finn
