Art Alchemy Explorations

Hello, Friends!
my Creative Team never fails! Today, we have Marta who found her inspiration in my new Art Alchemy acrylic paints.
You will love the magic she created turning an ordinary frame into a charming art piece.

Hi everyone! It's Marta here...

It is so good to be back. I love this moment... back to you with another piece of my soul.
The best thing about creating is sharing... -  projects, ideas, feelings, inspirations - sharing my love for art.
I have another mixed media based project for you.
I was so lucky to have a chance to already play with brand new Art Alchemy acrylic paints from Finnabair. Those colours are to die for!

Just take a look how delicious these paints are!

I have also prepared a very short and sweet photo tutorial. I hope it will inspire you.

I started with a plain, plastic frame which I covered and primed with Heavy White Gesso.

My next step was to add some metal findings to create a background texture. I glued them using the new super strong Heavy Body Gel.
One of my favourite found elements that I decided to turn into art are car wheel weights. Yes, you heard me right. :)

When all the background elements were glued, I started paiting my piece using brand new colours from Finnabair's Art Alchemy line.
Once everything was dry, I added my embellishments: Prima paper flowers, some Mechnicals Plated Labels and these delicate chipboards from Scrapiniec.

As my finishing touches, I added some white splashes with Lindy's Stamp Gang spray and shiny tiny gems which I love recently.

I hope you enjoyed this make and be sure to check out the new paint colours... you will love them!
Happy creating!
Marta x
