Irina Honcharyk here with you! I'd like to introduce my first Finnabair Team project!
I made a layout with a photo of my friend. I was inspired by the mood of the photo and by my friend herself, a really wonderful person who believes in magic and miracles.
I took a white sheet of watercolor paper and put a bit of Heavy White Gesso in the place that was going to be the base of my composition.
I created some nice texture with a Cobblestone mask and Copper Crackle Texture Paste. I made sure it dried well.
I planned where I was going to place my photo and decided to add some more texture and color on both sides of it. I mixed Rust Mica Powder with Light Paste and applied it on my page with a palette knife. I dried it.
I added color using a spray. Again, it should dry really well.
Then I created my composition. I used various methods and materials. I had fun stamping and making splashes of white acrylic paint.
I like coming up with my own ideas for embellishments! For this layout I improvised a dreamcatcher. I used Mechanicals Bottle Caps and some thread.
I glued one cap to the other and added the thread on top. To do this I used the 3D Gloss Gel.
Now, it was time for Glass Glitter and Micro Beads. I glued them to my dream catcher and on my page the same way - also using 3D Gloss Gel.
I added the page title - a 7Dots Studio Soulmates sticker. I wrote some sentiments by hand using a pen and black ink.
The stains were made with alcohol ink dropped on my page and the photo. For me, they are necessary accents. Finally, I added the metal stars, wooden feathers and a bit of resist canvas border.
And my layout was ready! Here are some detail shots:
I hope you like my first Finn Team project and feel inspired to create. :)
