Time for Giveaway: Opal Magic Mica Powders!

Hi again my dear friends!
It is such a busy time for me now: as my life is all between travelling, getting ready for the classes, working on samples and... one more important thing which may finally happen after long months of waiting and stressing (exciting change for me and Andrew - but I can't tell more yet as we don't want to give a chance to bad luck ;)). I just believe nothing ever in my life will be as people usually have it: I'm constantly on the go, sailing from one shore to another on a changing wind... and I'm so blessed I'm able to do it!
Let me say it in simple words: I'm able to have my crazy life as it is thanks to you all - my students and my followers. You  made it all happen showing me support, love, and trust which is the best fuel not only for me but also for my Creative Team - they all love seeing you coming to this blog, FB Page and Instagram - and they are thrilled to see you visiting their private blogs too - thank you so much for that!

I was wondering what would be the good way to show some gratefulness... and then I had this moment of enlightenment - GIVEAWAY of course! Last week I was posting Technique Video about Art Ingredients Opal Magic Mica Powders - so wouldn't that be a good idea to give you a chance to win a set now?

OK, so how to take part in the Blog Giveaway and have a chance to be a lucky winner getting all of my products you can see on the picture above?

I'd like you to check my You Tube Channel here, watch the video about Opal Magic Mica Powders and let me know in the coment below this post which way of using them you like the most?
If you like the content - how about subscribing to it? Hm?
I will randomly pick the winner on Tuesday night, after midnight of my local time and the name will be announced in the Wednesday blogpost, on 28th October 2015. Good luck!

P.S.
In this place I'd like also to send huge thanks to my Creative Team Members and CT Coordinator: you are the best support, source of inspiration and overflowing talent. You are everything I could dream of and as I know I don't tell you that enough: you are so appreciated. I'm grateful for the moment when I met you all and I'm so thrilled we are working on this team together. I believe in every single one of you - and I hope you believe in me. I wish you all the best and I can't wait for the next year of this crazy ride with you all!
Sending you ALL warmest hugs and waiting to read your Giveaway answers

  5. I like to use mica in mix media projects and on cards .
The best part is that they can mixes in both spray and gel medium, and they do not mix into a brown substans if you use more than 1 coller

  6. Hi, i'd love to enter the contest!!
The only way i've ever really used the Mica powders in art is by brushing them on dry; but I am so excited to try out the spray version! I'd never thought about creating my own perfect colours by mixing them by myself - and these colours you are showing in the video are just stunning!!
Another way I enjoy using the mica powders is by mixing a small amount with some lipgloss - it can create the most beautiful shimmering lipgloss colours that i'm not able to find in stores!

    Take care!

  40. The mica powders are gorgeous effects for any journaling/card making/etc, ideas. Though I love all the ideas, and can see them all being used to great effectiveness, I think my favorite is the sprays and how it just blends on the dark paper (or black gesso) to create such shimmer. Then, I also liked the Gel Medium use as a paint. Oh, and I can't forget the embossing. Hmm, well, maybe I can't actually pick a favorite as they are all great ideas.

About Mica powders for me the best results are on dark surface, you use it with gel medium, I use it a little differently, but... on dark surface it's explosive.

  134. Hi Anna,
I love your Prima products and it's great to see all the different ways we can use Magic Opal micas.
As I have lots of your Prima stencils, mixing the micas with gel medium is a great idea to use with these.

  135. I love mixing mica powders with gel medium to get a lovely shimmery glossy finish. One of my favourite 'mistakes' was using this to cover chipboard alphas and then overheating with the heat gun which caused bubbling....loved the effect so use it again and again. Really enjoyed your video as I've now learnt to use them as a spray.Thank you for the opportunity to win a great prize.

  136. Really just ONE way I like to use them??? I like to use them a couple of ways, but I think my go to the most is to mix them with mediums like your matte gel and add it to everything. I think I am a bit obsessed lol but I guess that is the point. thanks for the opportunity to win.

I originally thought I liked mixing the Opal Magic Mica Powders with the Art Basics Light Paste but then when you used them mixed with Water to create a spray, that was awesome. The one I would liked the best though was mixing the mica powder with the gel and brushing on the dark surfaces the BEST!!. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

Good tip on gesso first & sealing your work with the gel varnish or spray fixative.

  183. Wow! I was amazed! The video is fantastic. So many ways to use the powders and experimenting would be fun. I do mixed media canvas so I think mixing the powders with either modeling paste or gel medium would be a plus for me. I also work with polymer clays and boy would that metallic be great on my pieces! I cannot use the fixative sprays but would try hair spray as that is what I use when I use pastels. Keep up the good work. Loved the video!
