Find A Way

Happy creative Monday, everyone!
Today, Elena created this subtle layout inspired by the sentiments from my stamps.
I can't tell you enough how rewarding it is to see my products so beautifully used. Enjoy and feel inspired to do some stamping yourselves! :)

Hello everyone!
Today I would like to start the week with my new inspirational layout.

I love Finnabair's rubber stamp sets! They include not only beautiful images and background patterns, but also very inspiring phrases and sentiments.
I decided to make them my main focus on this layout.

In this photo my kids are standing on an old railway and the phrases from the stamps are just perfect for the idea of this layout!

My first step was to apply chosen Silks paints through a Harlequin stencil with the help of a blending tool.
The next step was to arrange the stamps on my layout and stamp with the help of acrylic block using black Archival Ink.
Then I adhered all the embellishments. Among other pretty elements, I added some Mechanicals delicately sprinked with Art Ingredients.

The last step was to add a touch of White Gesso here and there and some Twinkling H2Os watercolor accents.
You can follow the whole process in my start-to-finish video tutorial!
Enjoy!
Elena

  3. This may be a small detail, but I love how you used the stamped words as part of the collage, rather than the main focus. It really adds a lot of meaning to the entire piece!

Also, I REALLY need to get my hands on some of that heavy white gesso!
