Beauty and the Beads - explosion of texture and shine!

Hi again my friends, I'm back - for a short moment, but I'm here!
First of all - my apologies for not posting any Art Recipes in the last weeks. I feel very bad about it but I had to give up for a while - my personal life together with constant travels and working on the coming events, new products and  - hopefully - finally moving to our own place made it simply impossible. No matter how I tried, there was no time and energy left - and I hope you will understand that and I promise to be back soon with new ideas and inspiring project tutorials. In the meantime you can always check the most amazing artworks and tutorials of my super talented Creative Team - every Monday and Friday or visit our new Facebook Group: Finnabair & Friends - Open Studio. I hope to see you there!
As I said before - I'm back: last weekend I was teaching with 3 talented people during big crop in Lyon and I've got some projects with me to show you what can happen when you will marry shimmering sprays, black gesso, beads and glitter! Ladies and Gentlemen - "Beauty and the Beads" class samples are here!

During this class we focus on texture build with Art Basics 3D Gels and Stencils, grouping of embellishments and creating balanced yet rich composition.

Colours of the project depend on students' decision - as always I'm making sure we've gout a wide selection of colours available on the table - including Primary Elements and my new range of Art Ingredients Mica Powders.

One of the most important techniques in this project is using Art Basics Black Gesso and adding amazing finishing touches: clusters of Art Ingredients Beads, Micro Beads and Fine Glitter. In the end the project looks just... breathtaking!

Many of my students declared that they are not fans of glitter... but I have to proudly announce that my favorite set, "Ebony and Ivory" was able to convert  many people into glitter addicts... So remember to dose with care! :)

If you are interested in taking this class - here are the events where you can still book your seat!
- 11-12 July 2015 - Cafe Crop - Merillville, Indiana
- 25-26 July 2015 - Scrapbooking Forever, California
- 4-6 September 2015 - Bikuben - Oslo, Norway

I hope to see you very soon - and now off to pack as this weekend I'm in beautiful Norway!
Sending hugs
