Perfect Marriage

Hello, Dear Friends!
I guess you've heard about Throwback Thursday. I decided to go sentimental and have a Throwback Saturday. Why not, hm? ;)
So today I have two layouts I created a while ago but somehow never got to show yet.

Both of them are quite moody, dark and grungy so I thought they will be perfect illustrations for gloomy November nights. :)

Both of them also express one of my very favorite creative ideas...

...that is - marrying the available store-bought embellishments with all kinds of found materials.

This would make a great "I Spy" game, don't you think? ;)
I'm sure you'll recognize some elements that are available in scrapbooking stores all around the world, but I just can't resist making them "my own", adding a unique personal touch.

That's when I reach for my "treasure boxes" filled with all sorts of found objects.
My collection keeps getting bigger and bigger as I'm a very lucky girl to have my friends and students who know by now how excited I am to see interesting looking "trash". ;)
Not to mention my husband who always brings me something beautiful from his daily walks...

I hope you like my crazy messy creations. :)
Beauty and inspiration truly are everywhere.
Stay warm!
