Grungy butterfly magic

Delicate creatures like butterlfies can go grungy too! :)
Take a look what happens during my Grungy Magic class.

The base here is a paper from my Sunrise Sunset collection, I also had fun creating delicious textured swirls in gel medium, used my Mechanicals elements (including the new Mechanicals), epoxy stickers and enhanced the colors with Luminarte sprays.
Surely you wonder about the butterflies, right...?
They flew here thanks to my new Elementals mask. :)

Make sure you check my blog tomorrow - I'll share all the details about Life Book 2014 registration!
See you there! :)

  3. Perfect grungy butterflies, Anna. Yes, I was wondering about them. Lol. So your stencil and black spray mist? Gorgeous page. The textured swirls jumped out at me right away. Thanks for including the most important details. I so hope you will be back in British Columbia next summer with more classes. Although going to Ireland is very attractive - lol. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Marjan

  5. Your art is so amazing. You never disappoint me. Each piece you do is more beautiful. I wish I lived next door to you and we were BFFs. I would learn so much!

  6. I wrote a long message about how much I loved your picture...art, but the computer ate it! Once again the depth of color and placement is gorgeous. Art, for me is a very personal, emotional and powerful experience. I have been very sad and your picture lifted my spirits. Every square on the picture evoked different feelings. But the flight of the butterflies is so beautiful and full of light. I don't believe there is an artist that comes close to the work that you do. Thank you for sharing.---- Kateri

  7. Niesamowity! Te motyle są bomba, ale jeszcze bardziej fascynuje mnie użycie tego czegoś (nie wiem gesso, pasta strukturalna?), dzięki czemu uzyskałaś wrażenie szyby witrażowej.
